That is my biggest bugbear with resin. I tend to put items I can in the dishwasher now days as I find thats good at getting rid of the release agent. Just can't do it for the resin figures.

I am jealous. I wanted to get my hands on some of those Battle taxis and heavy Infantry, but couldn't in time.
Looking good overall.

Nice work. I like the magnet idea a lot as it allows you to swamp out guns and machine guns readily. Not sure if its worth the cost/time though. What are you using for primer btw?

Nice work. I like the magnet idea a lot as it allows you to swamp out guns and machine guns readily. Not sure if its worth the cost/time though. What are you using for primer btw? I magnetised three of my plastic tanks. The ones on the main body were easy, the plastic is thin so you can just glue the magnet onto the underside, no drilling required. For the turrets I had magnets that fit perfectly. The side sponsors were more trouble. Those I had to drill out a lot (power drill). Problem is they tend to split when drilled and you need to drill deep to get the magnet in flush. Then painting becomes more complicated as I had paint the turrets separately. So it's pretty cool but a lot of extra effort. I'm not sure I'll bother with my remaining plastic tanks. For primer I have a great shortcut. I'm using the army painter: colour primer army green spray. I find 3 light coats and I have a nice even colour. So far I've sprayed all the tanks in the last picture with a single can and will get several more from it. Not bad with how much it speeds the painting.

So I've got the battle taxis ready but no passengers... My first lot of infantry ready for paint. These are really nice and detailed minis. Minimal mold lines to clean up. I spent roughly an hour on clean up and assembly.

Good stuff indeed! I like to paint my figures before I base them, using popcicle (sp) sticks with blue tac to hold them. I also use a 40 x 40 mm square base vs the supplied rounds - they're much easier to fit in trench lines and building if square. For spray paints I use Krylon with its wide range of plastic and other primers. Look forward to seeing your figures

For 28mm I like paint the mini before I base them. I use old softdrink lids and blue tac to hold the mini myself. Just like the tanks these are a bit of an experiment. I'm trying out different approaches to see what works best for me. To be honest I hadn't really thought about fitting the round bases into terrain... I'll work something out

I painted my first lot on lolly sticked then based them when painted but I found it take too long. I just stick them on the base but some pumice on there, paint the base then the minis and they are ready much quicker.

Hello all! Ive been a bit under the weather the last week or so. Sadly this has slowed my painting down, but the brush is now back in hand! Progress on my infantry. These guys are a joy to paint, so many details! They are not far off complete. I have six stands like this so far. I also finally got the last ccoats of varnish on my mkIV. The last week had lots of rain so no spraying. I didn't go overboard with the transfers, but I like the three I added. I'm glad this is done and ready to kill Martians!

Bilko, these are great! We definitely need to give them a run now!
What sort of points do you think you can put together? Both painted & unpainted
