I know I have not been on the forums as much as the Facebook page. I am trying to get better but things in the workshop have been so very busy.
2nd edition rules are 95% done and only have minor editing to do.
The armies, to include a German army, are being balanced for the new edition.
For those of you who saw the pictures from GenCon you can see the new sculpts for the tripods which are only going through minor tweeks.
The German army is being sculpted as we speak and you can anticipate them playing a major role in the next edition.
Right now we also have about 5000 OG assault and scout tripods sitting in the warehouse which we are willing to part with.

Scout Tripod - $9
$1 discount per tripod for orders of 9 or more each

It all depends on several factors like, manufacturing, can it work in the fluff, do the players think it would be cool or not to mention a few important things. |

The German 'minenwerfer' (literally 'mine-thrower) of 250mm would be a great addition.

I am relieved One of the big draws for me about this game is the fact that it tries to stay "realistic" rather than go down the steampunk route. It would be disappointing to see Human tripods or walking tanks, please leave that to other games... |

The mere fact that here we are, almost 20% of the way through the 21st Century, and we still have no truly practical legged vehicles has to indicate something. There are very few applications where legs are better than wheels or tracks. |

I think Ernie Baker had the idea of making AQMF a thing like warhamster, with several factions all at war with each other. Prey, Martians Selenites (moon men) Venusians and Morlocks. To me, there are enough silly warhamster clones. (Zero is the right number.)
Please keep the suspension of disbelief to a reasonable level.
No walking tanks. No flying saucers/anti gravity vehicles.
Please let the grunt with a rifle and a heart continue to be the hero.
