Unless the owners of AQMF are lawyers I do not think they are waiting to jump on a infringement lawsuit. Money seems tight for them, still I am not willing to take a chance. Hopefully the owners realize with passing time the chance of successfully continuing the game declines. Orson Welles War of the Worlds was done in 1938. Perhaps a game set in 1938 in true 15mm would work. Would you buy such a game? I wouldn't want to change systems really, if I did I would probably go back to Martian Empires. All I really wanted was for an updated rulebook or official FAQ, then additional scenarios expanding the game

I don't want it from All Quiet, but I would not be averse to a different game set in 1938.
I like the WWI steampunk and the MkII steam tank is what got me into the game in the first place. It just looked really cool.

New Shinnys are always good but considering how long it is taking a FAQ and re release of the old stuff would do. Apparently all the old moulds where broken or lost though so I can't see they paid much for the IP of a dead game

The 1/72 scale is about right. I have been modifying early WW2 French tanks which look like WW1 tanks. When I put a order in I e-mail the owner about shipping charges first. It is always less then the amount shown.
When I figure it out, I will post pictures.
Better link...

From the new owner on facebook
Make of it what you will but the waiting for manufacturer costs has been mentioned a few times over the past few months

I make of it: more indefinite delays.
This statement indicates that they are not yet set up for production. It sounds like the mold designs are not "in hand" so more delays after they get the kickstarter finished. Which brings up another question: How long will the kickstarters run? It may be a long while before product arrives if the design are not ready to go upon closure of the kickstarter. For what it is worth: These guys are apparently not the manufacturers if they are seeking bids.

At one point they were talking about 3d printing of the models. I have lost all faith in getting anything out as it has taken far too long.

I pretty much concur with Q, 3d printing is too slow for mass production and expensive. It might be feasible for singles or "fewsies," Nice trendy buzzwords with no practical meaning in this context.

What happened to the prototypes they showed us a year or two ago? Then there was the Germans. Infantry, tanks and guns all shown. How are we to trust them if and when they start a kickstarter?
I think we are on our own gentlemen.

"On our own..." This is appearing to be a more likely scenario.
However, even when the manufacturer "orphans" a game, fan interest can keep it alive. The poster child for this is Epic Warhammer 40 K. Fan interest kept it alive despite being abandoned 3 times. A fan group created "EPICentre 40K" and supported the game by grass roots personal efforts. Look up EPIC40K and see the product of fan efforts. Really good work.

Good catch! I think they run a little bit on the small size. Still I could convert them to a grenadier model.
