Welcome once again to the Slave Dungeon, The start of a new year sees an entirely new category for Slave 2 Gaming, the 28mm One Offs range. I’m hoping to fill this category with both our traditional sculptors and hopefully new sculptors. The first two sculpts are by Mike Broadbent, and the third sculpt is by Greg Blake who also did the Cannon Fodder 15mm Moderns. The first figure is the Wraith figure, standing at just over 40mm tall, he is a quite imposing figure. He is a single piece metal casting and retails at AU$10 Next is the figure titled “Scarecrow in love”, this figure is also a single piece metal casting and retails at AU$5 Lastly, we see Greg Blake’s Wild Spirited Zuni Warrior, the Warrior is a giant among men coming in at roughly 37mm tall. As with the previous figures, this figure is also a single piece metal casting and retails at AU$5 Check out these and our other ranges at www.slave2gaming.com

G’day once again from the Slave Dungeon, Today sees the second release of the Maschinen Krieger, or Ma.K in 15mm range. These figures are a reduced scale gaming miniature based of the popular scale model kits created by Sensei Kow Yokoyama. We at Slave 2 Gaming are proud to be continuing to expand this range, hoping to see it turn all the Ma.k kits into miniature gaming pieces. This release has 5 new products for the Independent Mercenary Army (IMA), these being a 2 pack of SAFS Racoon suits, the heavy armoured Super Jerry, the Dollhouse armoured vehicle with either Rocket Launchers or Anti Aircraft weapons, and finally the Y-15 armoured fighting vehicle. There is less for the Strahl Democratic Republic (SDR) there are less releases this time, but we do see some of the more anticipated kits. The Nutcracker is by far the biggest Ma.K in 15mm kit there is so far. Add to this we see the release of the Krachenvogel & the Neuspotter. Most of these new products do require an amount of work to put together & may not be advisable to the beginner modeler. All are available from Slave 2 Gaming, although some of the larger kits being resin have a longer lead time to produce, so we only have limited stock. As more product becomes available levels on the website will be adjusted accordingly.

G’day once again from Dungeon central, Today sees the anticipated release of the 15mm Grim Fantasy rules. These rules have been 18 months in the making with a small team of Slaves working tirelessly at testing and trialing different ideas to create what we believe to be a unique set of rules, and our best rules release to date.
The rules have been released via Wargames Vault and can be found here: Grim Fantasy rules V1.0The game of Grim Fantasy is a fantasy skirmish wargame between two or more players, with games of up to four players working quite well. The game is set in a dark fairy-tale world that is inspired by European lore as transported to colonies in a New World. It is designed to be played with the Slave 2 Gaming 15mm range of figures, but any scale or range can be used with modifications.
Quick synopsis:
Set in the Village of Armbraid, the Pilgrims that have come from the Old Word are discovering that their new home is not as safe as they thought it would be. Creatures from the Great Woods raid their small village, wreaking havoc when they come. Nearby are the Natives are friendly, but wary. Some say that they know the land and what it can do. The land appears to be strange and changes both people and objects, some say that even the Scarecrows move around at night... There have been a few people who have really contributed to this game and must be thanked. Ross Franks for his Graphic design work and hours of playtesting, Dave Dingelstad for his editing and patience in this, and both Mike Broadbent and Anton Ducrot for their sculpting of such an amazing range. Most of the figures in these rules have already been released and can be found at our store, however the range will continue to grow, and new figures will be added to the Grim Fantasy range. Check them out here www.slave2gaming.com and share the word, help this game grow.

Yes, fear that the comical idea may be lost in the actual playing of the game

Thanks, I had pushed for Mike to make them suit the AQMF scale, but he wanted to do it this size.
Realistically, other than the horse being slightly larger, don’t think there would be too much issue with these guys fitting in AQMF.
A friend of mine suggested we do an F Troop style skirmish game!

I’d always liked this idea. I’d also always thought of 4 figures on a round base, say a 40mm round. My problem always was that I wanted more stands in a unit, 5 stands rather than than 3. Box holder is right, do what you like and enjoy your figures and game 😁
