Ok, I'm up on the map!
So what about a pinned topic for suppliers to advertise? I was looking to put up some per-website prices and thought a topic that could stay at the top might be nice for suppliers that are using this site, Maybe Black Hat might also like this?

The length of the HMG's did come up when they were made, but I believe that the idea for the HMG was the slightly exaggerated machine gun, much like the exaggerated Bayonets and Rifles.
I think the plan was to also make some other sorts of tripod mounted Guns, like a unit Tesla Gun or Electro Magnetic Pulse gun (EMP gun). The loader and gunner figures might remain the same but it would have different guns that you could mount, having said that I'm not too sure what Mikes plans with this idea are.
The HMG's have already been put into the set-up mold, and when we have enough figures to do the production molds they will be put in. I'll ask about shortening the gun, but I don't like the chances, sorry.
I believe that he is currently working on the dolly's for US, Prussian and British Cav, with talk about other standard infantry figures (he liked the prone idea). Not sure about time frame as to when they'll be available.

Has anyone thought of how named characters could work in the game? Is it something worthwhile thinking about, having a named character leading a special or veteran unit during the game?
Not too sure whether it would be a situation where you could build your own or they'd be pre-made rules for the characters.
Just a thought...

What about a map or some form of listing to show where players are?
I don't know of too many players living near me, but would like to.

Great ideas guys, I'll pass on the ideas and see how it goes.
I've been thinking of some other ideas that are outside the current rules, something like Sniper teams, Mortar teams, maybe mobile Tesla gun units ( like a MG unit with a smaller version of the Tesla tank), or even EMP units (also like MG units).

Cool, thanks for that. I'll pass all that on to Mike.
A command stand show 9 figures+ extra bits (tent, tower), what does everyone think about these sort of amounts? I'm sort of wondering whether something like an Officer, radio/flaggman, and maybe a guy with some binoculars would be fine? Haven't even thought of extra terrain bits for it...
Mike liked the idea of Cavalry, for both British & German. Might be able to push for the US getting some as well if there's any interest.
Tripods might be a way off, we're still only getting going ATM.
having said all that, keep the ideas coming, I'd rather get stuff made that people are wanting.

I'll need 20 British for 2 Assault Units with experimental rifles, and second the request for a British Command unit (with radio). Loyalist, I'll PM you right away.

Shazam! The front/side shot is the money maker - figures are right on & let me know some range of price with ship'g overseas - dang all the way from Australian - you plan on licensing a USA vendor please??! Maybe Eureka or others that carry multiple lines. MI. Toy Soldier is pretty big. Anyway distance is the problem and look forward to the rest of the line. TallyHo! Thanks for the response guys, sorry if the pics were a bit confusing. The website will be up in a little while, as we're still working on it. And yep, you can contact me on here or on the email address, slavemaster@slave2gaming.com The lines two 18mm lines are still very basic with the plan to expand depending on interest. Mike (the sculptor) and I discussed the idea of Horse Cavalry for both sides, Russians & French, and maybe even looking at making tripods if there are interested people out there with 3D skills. At the moment we don't plan to have an overseas distributor, Eureka Australia's owner is also a friend and it might not work out well if we only sold to the US. Having said that, the Australian dollar is quite low compared to the US ATM, so they wont be as expensive as first thought. We will have other 28mm ranges of figures as well, but I decided to start with this game first as I'm particularly in love with it ATM. I'll post up more as it comes up. Cheers

Ok, so the pic is not as snazzy as the other ones, but it gives a really good front (with the Germans in the back) and side view (with the British at the front). Hope that helps

Gday All, In recent months since I got into AQMF, I’ve been talking with the sculptor, Mike Broadbent, to sell some of his own ranges of miniatures. I'd like to introduce to you all Slave 2 Gaming, an exclusive retailer for Mike Broadbent designed Original figures. What, may you say, does this have to do with AQMF? Well, Mike has a nice range of 18mm alternate WW1 figures called “Dark World War.” These figures would and do make excellent figures for AQMF. At the moment the range covers both British & German Infantry, Heavy Machine Guns & Officers, although the below painted figures only show the Infantry (the Heavy Machine Guns & Officers are being painted as I write this). Our website is currently being built but if people are interested in purchasing anything please let me know on this email: slavemaster@slave2gaming.com and we can go from there. Also, if you have ideas that you might like to see from these ranges, drop me a line and we’ll see what we can do. Cheers So here’s the pics: The British
The Germans
