Thanks! It's a great model and lots of fun to paint. Should be fun to push around the table too

I find it helps to take pics of wip and also to have lots of projects on the go so you can chop and change

Looks even better now I'm on my computer and not staying at tiny images on my phone

Another modeler among us - great work and good pics as well. The attention to details was quite apparent. Love it.

In the background you can see some of my Vikings which I'm alternating with my US tanks. 4 Vikings, then some tanks and I'm not getting bored. Taking pics and sharing them helps me see I'm actually achieving something. Especially when you see the first undercoated pic and the completed pic. I really like the oxide drive shaft n weight. I wanted a little extra colour on the mini as it's pretty big and green! I thought most of the rust would have green paint slapped over it but the drive would be moving parts, always in mud rubbing off any grease. I think the orange is a nice contrast and draws the eye to the cool details. I'm happy with it for my first attempt.

The model is nicely detailed and easy to work on, it's making my meagre skills look good As to the pics... I want to do better there. They're not terrible but I want them better. I just need to get off my butt and get a proper setup.

Wow you really are moving along with the building and painting Indeed! I'm very motivated to get minis done right now. I haven't painted anything in years and I find I'm really enjoying it. Painting minis used to stress me out, what if I got it wrong?!!! I also want to get lots painted before the end of winter. Summer here is terrible for painting.

I used to fuss too much when painting and it took me ages to paint anything and by them you had lost motivation. The problem with the internet is there are so many well painted models out there it does sometimes make you think why bother. I have come round to the conclusion if its good enough for me and looks ok on the tabletop its done! Now I get a lot more done.

Worrying to much about getting minis "right" and "perfect" but in the end never getting anything done nor being happy. Now? I concentrate on being neat, getting the painting done and accepting that I don't need perfectly painted minis to play games or be happy. It's working out very well!

Overnight the crews got out the green paint and slapped a few coats on the hulls. Nice and clean but wait till they get in the mud! I had difficult time with these. I gave them a vigorous scrub with warm soapy water but the mood release was very stubborn. I thought I got it all off... until I started painting. Still had some hiding. So the base coat took longer than usual but in the end it's all good.
