Agreed a hassle, but that 6" howitzer firepower is sweet on the table!! Nothing ruins a tripods day more than a battery of MA targeting you, especially if with ammo carrier (+1 die rolled each shot). Do have a look at the Conqueror line for their 8" MA howitzer. As they're premaded resin, you won't have to do assembly at all. Looking good. Just what you force needed to pound a little Martian metal. Agreed! I've got these three and another three to make, that should be a nice little core to build a force around. I've got a ammo carrier around here somewhere too... I took a look at their minis and they are very impressive! I think once I've painted all my current US stuff I'll look into buying some things from Conqueror. Those new trucks they have I really want!

Dang those look nice - gives a whole new meaning to a 'green thumb'! BTW, I somewhere mentioned that damage to a tank/vehicle from a heatray should look different than the normal 'holes' you see if the enemy lobs shells and bullets. Just paint that gouged area up like a heatray blast did it and it'll add character to the model. After all, not a lot of tanks survive targeting by a heatray.

bilk the added advantage to the Conqueror line is the numerous single pieces they offer - you don't have to buy the entire 'ammo carrier' model, just the ammo cart and hook it up to one of the mobile guns. Cheaper and looks good as well. Frankly, I think that most artillery ammo would be carried by trucks and most mobile artillery ammo would be towed by the guns carriages themselves. Makes more sense than the 'expense' to the army of tracked carriers being used all the time. Maybe on occasion over long marches to save wear on the fighting machines.

They are fantastic little minis, so much detail on each one, I didn't notice till I began painting them. I really like how each one has a different helmet. My hat is off to the sculptor. Yeah... I was undercoating the AIC, caught a little over spray. This hobby gets me some funny looks at work sometimes I've thought about modeling heatray damage but I'm not sure how I want to do it. I'll probably just stick with rust damage for the AIC as it will fit in with the other two. I might experiment with a plastic tank and try melting it a bit. I'll post my results of course!

Wow, your paint job definitely points out the really nice sculpt of those figures! I love the 'glass' painting showing the two different styles of eyepieces - one solid and the other two separate eye pieces. Great job!

I love the 'glass' painting showing the two different styles of eyepieces - one solid and the other two separate eye pieces. Great job! I wanted the eyes to stand out. It also adds a little colour to the otherwise drab uniform Each of the minis has different details, some have a hatchet on their belt, others a knife. One has a coil of rope. All the helmets are different and so are the eyes. There are parts that could be painted as gauges and lots of pipe work from the back tanks. Personally I liked the big strap and buckle holding the tanks on their backs, so cool! These are great minis, really sculpted well.

Man all that details pops with your paint job - good show! And you're right, the sculpts are excellent; bravo to the artist. I wonder if the various sculptors are still about to work for IG?? Find who did the Armored Infantry would be my suggestion for future new infantry at the very least.

Find who did the Armored Infantry would be my suggestion for future new infantry at the very least. A few extra infantry sculpts would be awesome. Hopefully once the game gets going full steam we will see new minis!

Hello again! Due to a workplace injury my painting slowed down at the tail end of last month. Luckily I'm back in action and here is my progress! Third AIC (finally!!) Mobile artillery Command post

Outstanding close-up photography on this whole thread. Great job on that and the miniatures. Why thank you Yes the old phone camera is doing well! I do need to work on my lighting setup. I'm mostly film based for photography and home movies (super 8!) so the only digital I have is my phone camera. The minis are very fun to paint, nice and simple but they really stand out.
