Dang that is rough midnightblue - maybe once you can meet face-to-face with one of the reps, they can give you hand with that. It would be a major PR coup and even if they could give you a large % (and other verified KS folks who got nothing) on a repurchase, they'd get a somewhat satisfied customer and reach to those that KS'd and might still want to become loyal customers going forward. Just a thought.

I seriously doubt that Ironclad Games would do that. It would open a huge can of worms and every KS backer who was stiffed by AD would then expect the same treatment.

Yes, I realize that scott. Just a thought of fairness in a way, but not good business model - although a general discount to verified KS holders might work. It would possibly bring back more customers and smooth some PR woes about the game. Just a thought. Looking forward to seeing you at Historicon - be safe in your travels and high in your profits my friend.

Yep I lost money but don't expect anything from ironclad games. I shall but the items I did not receive from ironclad games when they are available. I just want the game to continue and grow. Hopefully there sales will be good enough this year to make more items available and have add ons to the game created

Here, here, we need production and stability in the game to help it make it back. Anything that stands in that goals way is just a distraction, so I withdrawal my suggestion. Perhaps down the road IG could do something for those burned by the AD KS, perhaps not. I'm for anything that will bring the game back to its feet and allow more new gamers into it in the future. Its an exciting time to think that we will soon have access to Dominators and other machines that were not producted. Kaplah! Success! IG.

Agreed.
Though I still don't feel stiffed, just disappointed. It was a project that went south...and took the company and principals down with it.
I really, really am happy that someone was able to come in and save the game(s).
When funds allow, I'm sure I'll be a loyal customer of IG's new releases. Until then...I've got SOOOO much of the released product that I shouldn't feel any rush to go out and buy new stuff.
I just need to redistribute my planned forces.
My main force, the one I was most looking forward to getting table ready, lost a lot of its meat. My US Army force operating out of Fort Lewis & Clark in East St. Louis, holding the line at the Mississippi River in the Midwest, was going to have all of the newest US equipment. So missing from my roster are the MK IV Command Tank (lead tank), Mk IV Flame Tank, 3x Tesla Tanks, Munition Tender, and Fuel Tender. Fort Lewis & Clark itself is missing the Command Tower, 2x Gun Towers, and 2x Flame Towers for the trench works.
But the biggest hit of all is to my USLS Independence (land ironclad) flotilla. It's missing its two Goliath escorts. That's a huge chunk of my planned US Army forces.
Though I believe my Canadian (BEF) forces, Missouri Resistance forces, and Republic of Texas forces were nearly complete. (Republic of Texas was supposed to receive a munitions tender and fuel tender, but those are minor loses to the planned force.)
My Martian Force lost a lot of muscle in the Overseer and 2x Dominators that I'd paid for, the Scientist Tripod, and the coveted Harvester Tripod...not to mention the security of the Heat Ray Wire (x4) I'd planned to setup a perimeter with. But at least there I have FAR more Tripods of Assault and Scout variety than I'll ever need. What I have in Martians, even without the biggest guns, could probably put up a good fight, if not win, against all of my human forces...including the USLS Independence and RSLS Lone Star land ironclads.
One thing I do hope that Ironclad Games will consider when they start digging into all of this...revisit the preliminary design work on the Goliath. It was my most anticipated piece...I ordered two of them as part of the centerpiece of my human forces. In fact, along with the fluff of the game, it was the single concept drawing that pulled me so heavily into the Kickstarter in the first place. But the first resin mockups did not look very similar to the concept art. I hope steps will be taken to try to bring out the Goliath as conceptualized in the picture on the Kickstarter page. That is such a sweet bit of art.
[Edit - See the Kickstarter home page or Update 50 for the concept art of the Goliath. I tried to post a link, but it didn't work out.]
Another suggestion for IG...
If you are selling the rulebook at GenCon, if it is in your capability, you might want to create and print corrected unit charts to go along with the rule books as I do believe that was the biggest, glaring, and confusing error in the book. The quick reference unit charts were apparently from an older graphic that didn't get updated to match the costs in the unit descriptions. It might go a long way to helping new potential players if they received corrected charts when they purchase the book/starter set. I know I wouldn't mind being able to download a corrected chart myself.
Just a thought.

I applaud your support of IG midnightblue. I wish to point out that there are/were lots of options for the missing vehicles available over the past year to fill out your dreams - Conqueror made a number of tanks, ammo carts, and even now there are Tesla and a Landship - as well as some heatray fencing and now individual turrets, etc. Their command tank is excellent. You could use the AD stats or the 'Ford' stats I devised. As for the Goliath, I humbly submit my 'David' design based on the Steam 5 model from Ironclad Miniatures. A more powerful gun and a gatling machinegun give it more punch than the Goliath had. In any case, once IG gets things cranking, I'm sure time will fill in you forces and bring you up to 'steam' on the gaming tables. I fully agreed with your observation about the fixing the pages (50-53 I think) with the quick reference charts to reflect correct values and point costs. It would indeed make the sell of the books a better buy and more prone to getting through the older stock till a new print run can correct those issues. Even making them available to all of us at costs or small profit would be a big help - I'd buy a corrected sheet just to have it all in one handy sheet or two. Here's hoping you find peace with the game as I see your torment - I look forward to IG succeeding in bringing back our great game and moving forward.

I'll dig through my collection when I get home this evening - I may have a Patton tank or the like hanging around still un-built.
I'm happy to see the game making its way back - generally I loved the ruleset, but had a few quibbles on how some of the steam tank variants were pointed that were never addressed.

Can't wait to get my hands on some of the models. The Dominator looks terrible though. Like a 6 year old played witch a plastic tripod. Please don't release it. I would love to wait for a better modle but sure as hell won't buy that one.

I have to agree with tenchuu on this. The model looks like a last minute prototype bei RPS. I payed $35 on the Kickstarter for a Dominator. If they would have send me this "thing" i would have thrown it back at them.

I don't like to bash other people's work, but I do agree that the Dominator artwork, much like the Goliath's artwork, was much, much better than the model prototypes we saw.
The piece deserves a reworking.

The Goliath definitely needs a rework. So it has treads.

I actually really liked the wheels. I thought the concept art was perfect...and it really pulled me into the KS campaign.
Remember, the Mk V Goliath was a testing platform with only 6 prototypes made. I think having some traits that distinguishes it from the rest of the US forces makes sense.
