Yes, a lot of people ask me about the names! Creating them basically involved stringing together a few syllables which make no sense but which are (barely) pronounceable.
My publisher e-mailed me a few hours ago about selling books at NJ Con!
I'm about halfway through the second book. It is due out in November. Book 3 ought to be out next May. They both would have been out a lot sooner, but last year we still had legal connections with Ernie Baker and we wasted nearly 8 months trying to get his approval for the 2nd and 3rd books. That won't happen between book 2 and 3. I can start work on 3 as soon as I'm done with 2.

Great news. I'm reading the first book for the third time. Wow, that is really great! It's nice to sell a book, but to hear that someone liked it enough to re-read it makes an author feel all warm inside Thanks for letting me know!

Scott, any new Paper Terrain coming out? I'm planning on getting wall sections here in next month. No immediate plans. I'm focusing my efforts on the next book right now. Also I'm waiting to see how things go with the new owner of All Quiet. I talked with him on the phone about the previous arrangement PaperTerrain had with Alien Dungeon, but we didn't come to any conclusions about what a similar arrangement with Ironclad Games might look like.

Good to hear the communications line is open.
I lent my copy to my father, He quite liked it he also asked about the second book.It has got him back in the mindset of finishing the buildings he started for HG's little wars. It will be fun to pull all the Britians out again and take over a room. Thats a project that has been sitting around for about a year and a half.

The second book is coming along well. Several rather cool battles and some interesting tech stuff. The Martians are getting fleshed out in more detail and we will see some Martian politics. In many ways I'm happier with this book than the first one. The characters are developing and getting more interesting. I should note, however, that I'm not sticking so closely to Ernie's original timeline of events. My publisher is now talking about having it out in time for Halloween. Maybe we'll do a book signing in Grover's Mill

ditto micman and just reread it again. At present I've started the Lost Regiment series of Willian Forsyte (sp) - what a great setting for a miniatures game! Looking forward to the 2nd book and battles therein. Write scott write - Martian politics should be really interesting.

The Lost Regiment series is a lot of fun, although it got a little silly in later books. As I recall, the author also co-authored a lot of Newt Gingritch's books
