I already did that! The TMP thread now has a link to the DakkaDakka forum. I PM'd the guy and directed him here.

Perhaps someone can direct the mysterious benefactor to this forum? The say they are "Ironclad Games." A quick google search yielded this: www.ironcladgames.com/ They look like a PC Game company. Odd they'd want a miniatures game.

Very sceptical here, I won't be holding my breath. Lots of rumours out there but no details

Agreed. The deal is not done until the ink is dry and the checks cashed.

It would be really nice to have someone bring the game back to life. Hope it happens.

The post did say something about new company. Could it be just a gamer or two wanting to buy into an already developed product line? My guess is that Scott Washburn and Mad Morgan have pooled their resources and for their shared love of all that is decent have rescued AQMF!

LOL! Even if they gave me the IP and all the stock and all the molds for free I wouldn't have the money or the time to restart the business!

Hello Everyone, I'm Joe from Ironclad Games. We are in the process of acquiring all of All Quiet on the Martian Front's product and assets. We are a new company, working on launching our website soon and I will post a link once it is up an running. As posted on Dakkadakka, we don't have a lot of information to give just yet, but it is forthcoming, once the sale is finalized. Please let me know if you have any questions or comments. If you plan to attend GenCon 2016, I will be there and will attempt a meet and greet, so please let me know if you'd like to interact with me (we are too late for a booth or organized event, but I'll make time for contact).
I have a copy of the rulebook and have noticed and seen some of the criticism in regards to how the game plays. Initially we will be taking full stock of what product is available and what is missing. We will do our best to get this great game back in circulation and into the hobby market. I believe that feedback is important, so please feel free to contact me on these forums and soon through our website with ideas, concerns, shout-outs, etc.
Thanks, -Joe

Hi Joe! Welcome! And thank you for the information! I'm sure you will be getting a LOT of questions here! So I'll get a few in right now Do you have any idea of the time frame for all of this? I know legal stuff can take a long time. Where will you be located? So you are a new company? Do you have any other product lines? I guess that's enough for now Scott

We are moving forward with the purchase of the assets as the new owners. There is much to be done legally, as you said, but that is all currently in the other professional's hands that are involved. Once the dust has settled, I'll be sure to send out updates! Ironclad Games is based out of St. Louis, Mo. We are a new company and this will be our initial product line. Everyone involved with Ironclad Games is an industry vet and we have designed, produced, and sold games and supplies in the industry for years. We feel confident that we can breathe new life into All Quiet on the Martian Front (otherwise we not have pursued it so). -Joe
