Gday Guys, These figures have just come through from Mike, they are the new Dark World War US Cavalry figures. There’s 5 poses - a Sergeant, Standard Bearer, and 3 different Cavalrymen with Carbines. The pack will contain a Sergeant, Standard Bearer and 4 various posed US Cavalrymen on Allied horses. We thought we’d try something a little different with them, we are going to have a Pre-sale to gauge interest in them. The sculpts are finished and the sub-master molds have been made, so they are ready to go. But with a few other things coming out over the next month or so, these guys have been put back a bit. What I’m hoping to do is to see if the people on the AQMF forum here are interested enough to pick up some and push forward the final mold process and the release date. At the moment, they are only being shown on here, I don't have plans to hit Facebook or other sites till the release date, but if they make it up to other places I'm not to concerned, I just thought I'd give you guys first pick. If you are interested in a pack of these guys, you’ll need to contact me via email (as they are not on the website yet), here’s the address: slavemaster@slave2gaming.com There may be an extra week or two waiting period (on top of the normal process time) before they are cast so to see how many people are interested, but I think that we can make this work. Let me hear what you think.

If they're the same price as the other cavalry we're looking at $20.00 Australian. I'd buy a couple of packs

I was just in touch with Drew. They'll be the same price as the other cavalry: $20 Australian for 6. These figures could work as RCMP troopers for my Canadian force - they have the correct hats, pith helmets having been replaced in 1904. The LMGs might be hard to explain!

Yep, $20 for 6 is correct.
There is a potential to be able to look at other options for the figures (ie: Electro Lances, Sabres out, etc), but these may end up being pushed by the sales of these current figures.
If you do have ideas of what you might want to see, let me know.

If you do have ideas of what you might want to see, let me know. Sabres would be a nice option, especially if the figures had rifles in saddle holsters like the S2G British cavalry. Additional figures with rifles would be a good fit for American cavalry as per the rule book.

FYI - I was wondering... I'm sure others will wonder too... 20 Australian Dollars equals 15.37 US Dollars

The simplest "conversion" would be to simply clip off the stick magazines and smooth cut place. This will make the Thompsons look like some kind of carbines.
