Love it. I really love the shot of it rolling over the tripod. Do the Lewis gunners top side come with the kit?

I always found hammering empty M1911 .45 cal shell casings into the knee caps & elbows very effective.

I was good this year, so I asked my wife & kids for two (2) AQMF items for X-mas. I wanted the US Army Armored Infantry Carriers & Martian Harvester tripod. X-mas morning I opened my gifts to find the usual sox, underwear, T-shirts and DVD's. I asked again about the AQMF items I had requested and was told "Are you crazy! You will shoot your eye out!" It seems the only AQMF item I got this X-mas was from Santa Mike here on this forum who got me a Martian figure. Only the USPS decided to hold off on delivery until after X-mas. So, what AQMF items did my friends here on the forum get for the holidays? Or did you end up like I did with coal for my steam tanks?

Scott, I hope to see some pictures of your completed Land Ironclad. I wonder if you named it after Comstock's?

I am in need of one 3 man Forlorn Hope unit to finish out my Forlorn Hope squad. Let me how much one unit would be with postage. Please only my US friends here for overseas postage is a real killer. So do me a favor and check your spares box. Thanks.

I must say I am looking forward to Scott's up coming Texas Front book in the spring. I like the way he writes and adds historical figures into the story line. One of my favorites is Patton. I am in hopes that with the French landing in Mexico that the French Foreign Legion will once again take the fore front in Mexico. Back in 1863 Legion Captain Danjou with a force of 65 Legionnaires at Camaron Mexico took on a force of 3000 Mexican infantry and cavalry. The French lost with the force wiped out except for two men that the Mexican forces felt should live due to the gallant fight the Legion put forth. In fact, Camaron Day to this day is a big Legion holiday. Every April 30th Capt. Danjou's wooden hand is paraded in front of the Legion with full honors. Now I look forward to the Legion taking on the "Marvins" (Martians). Just think of it, The spirit of the Alamo and possibly the French Foreign Legion will be a good fight and one I can not wait to read. Your thoughts my friends?

Another side note. Cavalry units could take a 75mm recoilless rifle on two pack horses. One for the gun & tripod and one for the ammo. The pack horses are more maneuverable than a M1897 75mm gun being towed by either a truck or horse drawn limber and the recoilless packs a bigger punch than the M1897 75mm gun. So now your Cavalry will be able to take artillery with them.
