Every state has a city named Springfield. Almost every state has a town or village named Lodi. Near a town somewhere in the Midwest, Human and Martian fight grim battles for survival. Two stalwart players have agreed to play, each half a world apart, using Skwyre. I have uploaded an image of my map, made with Fractal Mapper from NBOS with additional textures from Genetiva. The textures remain the property of their owners and no endorsement other than consent is given from the IP owners. I plan to document each turn, for the purpose of promoting play. The miniature tokens were created by taking the Kickstarter image of pieces being offered by Alien Dungeon (RIP) At this point, it is hoped that players take digital images of their miniatures for playing pieces. I will try to answer any questions players have, in addition to providing a roll-by-roll account of the battles.

Now that Matthew is gone, the internet has less stress. Signals are better. I hope things can get started soon.

This is a screenshot of a very basic setting: a few tokens on a background.

Because this test is more of a "play by mail" example than a "play in real time" example, it should work like this:
players move by drawing measured lines from the lower left corners of their tokens to their desired destinations. Then targets are designated, dice are rolled, and damage is applied, and then the second movement.
I'd like to open this for discussion: It will be more time effective for player A to move, shoot and move all of his his units a second time, then repeat for player B. Move and shoot will be one "submission" then second move. It is reasonable that I, as moderator, will be able to do a player's full turn every day.
There is the decided possibility that there can be some "real time" play as well. There is a 15 hour time difference with Australia and the east US. 5 pm in the US becomes 8 am in Australia.

I agree that the time difference requires a player A player B approach. Thank goodness you're on the job here! I'd totally disregarded the major time difference - so we should play our turn asap right? I'll start tomorrow then or maybe this evening depending on whats going on here. ty!

Loyal Players; Men, Women or Martians:
At this time I am looking for at least one other player for the Battle of Lodi.
