Michigan Toy Soldiers weekly release has a few interesting things for the 1/72 plastic human forces. HaT released a new British Early WW1 set. All the figures are in hats and lack gas masks of coarse, so its of limited use, despite having some nice figures. STR releases a really nice Early WW2 US Soldiers/Marines set with all those great figures in 'Monty' hats. Again, lack of gas masks, but they have all the alternative weapons (BAR, SMG, even a really nice sniper) and I'd have to get the actual figures to check for a gas mask bag, there could be one there, but I don't see it in the small pictures offered. These figures are surely based on Wake Island, etc., and as such would have gas mask bags available. Finally, UMN releases another of their 1/72 railroad models; this time a car carrying a WW1 tank of some some. I've yet to id the tank, but this would got right along with their great series of Armored Railroad models. Once I'm in more funds, I hope to buy the entire set of their armored trains to include this new one. I foresee a grand scenario, with the train charging up the track down the middle of the table, with supporting Russian forces on either side. Probably as a reserve unit in the midst of a battle.
