Hi Guys, Rob Oren of Dice Tower did a very nice review of All Quit on the Martian Front. I met him at GenCon 2016, where he let me know that he was a big fan of the game and was excited to see it back in production. Dice Tower is expanding to doing more miniature games and All Quiet will have a play through video this Sunday and such in the future. Watch the video if you have the chance: www.youtube.com/watch?v=NU5m1EQ8QHs&feature=youtu.be-Joe

I almost ordered another starter box based on his testimonial.

Hmm almost - man go for it - its a pretty good deal and you'll also have some spare markers and templates for you opponents to use - believe me after doing those massive games at Historicon, the advantage to having more than one set of templates, etc., is huge. Sorry. Your money not mine. Support of IG has got me worked up. Soon as my checks come in at months end, I'll be in position to start buying again. Then, I'll quite raving about what others do.

Lol how much did you bung him for the review. He was so enthusiastic about the game, it was great to hear Shame he thought it was based on the film rather than the book though .

I actually didn't solicit that at all. He was in fact super-excited about All Quiet coming back. I play lots of board games and have designed and published one already (working on more), so it was a shock to me that Dice Tower is expanding into miniatures. He is a true fan and wouldn't even let me give him some product for review purposes. He bought his stuff and had a starter already.
I told him that I would support him in anyway going forward.
Also Beast of War mentioned a follow up interview too, so hopefully this will all raise awareness.

I also think the fact you have put the PDF of the full rulebook on your website for free goes a long way to say how strong your commitment to keeping the game alive is.

I was a bit tongue in cheek I suppose. I have a bunch of stuff left over before the legacy company went under. But the dude had the excitement of a carnival barker or late night gingsu knife salesman. Fun for the whole family!

Ps. I share his enthusiasm. Cool models, easy to paint, fairly easy game, and a subject practically everybody can relate.

I guess I see most game reviews with a more reserved approach. But for me, an AQMF fanz boyz, it was nice to see a 'civilian' give such an enthusiastic review. I am all validated now.

VALIDATION?!?! WE DON'T NEED NO STINKING VALIDATION!!
with apologies to Treasure of the Sierra Madre
We are cool enough as it is. Besides, we were prematurely cognizant of a great product.
