Hmmm I find that the tractor is indeed very small. Sad, I'd hoped to use a lot of these. Will have to rely on the True North models for a better size - that thing might pull some light guns (20mm, etc.), I just failed to look at it - maybe you can get a refund on it as well in the package you send back?? Sorry, I didn't realize how dang small it really was!

No problem, I'm sending the tractor back with the 25mm figures for a refund.
I've ordered 4 of the first run of S2G British transport tanks to use as heavy artillery tractors, as they can transport the gun crews. They have noticeable printing lines at the rear but those can be sanded off and at $15AUS (25% off) they're a good deal. (Tanks without prominent print lines are in the pipeline for $20.)
I really looking forward to getting the S2G tanks and British lancer cavalry in a few weeks.

An excellent idea on the S2G tanks. As I'm 'billing' those as very special vehicles in my background, I'll probably use my standard method of towing - that being AD MkII or Conqueror No Sponson 3" gun tanks. I've always thought that a towing vehicle should also be able to fight and having a more obsolete tank (as the AD MkI was at one point) as a towing machine gives the advantage of further protection of the artillery. piece. Thanks for the info on the printline offer, wasn't aware of it and thats an excellent price alright.

Drew can cast you some of the cheaper first run S2G tanks. I think he has to wait for more casting rubber before the second run version can be produced.
I'm using the S2G transport tanks as tows in the BEF force because they're gasoline powered and I don't have any steamers in my BEF army. I was going to use the WWII Italian tractor for the BEF guns until I saw how small the 'test sample' I ordered was.
Like you I use AD steamers as heavy artillery tows in my Canadian force; they can be fitted out as Mk I tanks with a 3" gun or Mk IIt with an HMG.

Cool. I am sorry about the Italian tractor. At least you'll get your money back for it.
