Gday Guys, I've been promising these figures for some time now and I must say I'm pretty happy with the final product. The British and Prussian Cavalry are finally done. There official release date is tomorrow, as that is when the "TMP" ad goes up, but I thought I'd put them up here to show you guys before everyone else gets to see them. There's a link Here to this Forums S2G pricing and there is also a link Here to the Facebook site. Sorry we don't yet have our site up yet, its just happening really slowly in the back ground You can contact me on this email address as well: slavemaster@slave2gaming.com Anyway, enough talk! Heres some pics:

Hi Drew, They look very good other than what appears to be a transverse step in the British figures' helmets. I remember the photo of the green of the British cavalryman with a metal head. There was an obvious step in the helmet, including its rim. It looked like mold slippage with the back half of the head displaced downward (just saw it again on your FB site). I remember thinking that a head with a smooth helmet must be planned for the final product.

I spoke with Mike about them back in January but they may have been forgotten over the period of the last few months. The step looks quite prominent on the picture, but does not appear as large on the figure. I spoke with Mike about it after your comment and he while he was casting he quickly ran a spin of the figures, he said that they didn’t look too bad and that maybe the first run may have been a little wonky. Sorry, I haven’t really got any more info for you. They are fixable with a small file or knife, they just might not be changed till the next time the moulds are made.

Thanks Drew, as you say a little file work would take care of it. I seem to recall mention of a possible third type of British cavalry with rifles (presumably holding them because they all have rifles in scabbards).

There is a long term plan for some other types of Cavalry, but at the moment we decided that it was better to look at creating a larger range of different figures for our DWW line, we have a base line of Infantry units, some basic Cavalry units and Tanks in the pipeline. I am hoping to expand both the British and Prussian in a lot of different directions, with the future for the Dark World War range maybe even holding some new Nations and/or species. I know its really a non answer that I've given, realistically I also want to see how the guys do before I go too much further down the Cavalry direction.

Any idea when the tanks will be available? If soon I'll order a couple of units of cavalry and several tanks at the same time.

Dang, those look great guys! Congrats on yet another successful line of sculpts. Hope to get me new computer soon and once the recovery of my files from the dead hard drive is complete, I'll be a gunning for your figures. Just got back from Historicon 2016 - your sample packs were well received at the end of each of the Illinois campaign games & numerous of both veteran and new players were excited by your product line. Hope it generates some orders for; by the discussions I had with some of the folks (not Martian players of coarse!) you should get some orders once people realize how easy it can be to order overseas - not to mention the exchange rates
