Here are photos of a Scout tripod converted to my idea of a Constructor Engine (obviously not HGW's 6-legged Handling Machine). The standard tripod legs were shortened by removing the narrow sections and gluing and pinning them back together. The arm with the Reaper Claw is from an Energy Pylon kit - represents an arm for repairs, construction, etc. The tentacles were shortened by removing the middle segment and the front of the tripod head was modified to install the heavy metal arm. When I build the next one I'll photograph the process and show the styrene reinforcements inside the head to install the arm from the Energy Pylon - basically made a solid 3.5mm thick area back to the slot inside the head for mounting to the legs, and drilled a hole through that to install the arm.

Excellent work. I am using Black Hat handling machine but it does look different from the AQ type of tripod

I may buy one of those and install my third Energy Pylon arm and resin copies of Slaver legs. Not sure if the legs will fit it or not.
