Two of 7 Defiant armoured cars I bought had a broken right front axle, 1 missing the part.
To repair the resin axles drill holes in the broken parts with a pin vice and 0.5mm or slightly larger bit, glue a section of staple or brass rod into the hole in the broken off piece with ca, then glue to the axle stub. If the broken axle is missing trim the stub flush with the hull after drilling a pilot hole through it. The metal piece designed to go into the rear of the vehicle and hold the spare wheel is exactly the length of a front axle. Drill another hole in it from the narrow end, insert a staple or brass rod section and glue to the hull.
The piece for the spare wheel is unnecessary. If you mount it in the hole at the rear you'll find it is located too high and the top of the spare wheel will be level with the muffler and cannot be installed flush to the hull. I used resin copies of the wheels as spares and glued them directly to the hulls so I could use the metal wheels to make ammo carts for munitions carriers.

Once again a salute to your modeling skills loyalist. Love the use of parts to crossover to other projects too (...make ammo carts...). Salute!
