In the absence of new AQMF items, one could look at the solitaire boardgames from Dan Verssen Games (DVG): War of the Worlds: England; War of the Worlds: France; War of the Worlds: Japan and War of the Worlds: Eastern US. These are boardgames the use card-driven Matrians to assault different countries. They are very high quality products. The card mechanic is good for simulating the implacable and unpredictable advance / attack of the Martian tripods. Each nation has forces with different capabilities and limitations to resist and repel the invasion. Each nation also has historical characters that add interest and capabilities. The cards add uncertainty and provide pretty good replay value. Not AQMF, but are true to the WotW theme. if you don't have another person to play: why not? Not a shill for DVG, just helping keep the War of the Worlds interest up. Opinion: England is best of bunch.

No. Each is a stand-alone game.

Hmmm, on Amazon the "Recommended Age" for the players is "120 years and up". I'm too young to play the game

Was thinking you could play all or some of the games simultaneously and move resources between boards for the humans. Say one turn between G.B. and France, and two turns for U.S. and Japan. Are there plans in include other countries? Germany would be an excellent edition.

Amazon'a age range will certainly cut into the audience size for the product!

I can't pretend to speak for DVG regarding plans for further additions to this line. You could try dropping them a line .
They may see some growth potential or they may have figured that this is all that they can expect.
