It is official, I received the final wave of sculpts for the Imperial German line. Pictures to be seen in the next few days.
Also there will be a contest to determine the background and stats of one of the German Infantry Special Weapons with the winner receiving a Classic Tripod Battle Force.

My entry: dreifach = " Tripod Fist " a close range weapon fired by German Infantry.
The dreifach is a close range weapon that fires a chemical/electrical round which if enough hits are scored will reduce a Martian tripod's armor.
If three or more rounds hit, a tripod's armor is reduced by 1 each turn on a 5+ until the end of the game. Roll at the start of each Martian turn. If more hits are scored decrease the 5+ by one for every hit. Range of a dreifach is 10".
History= While chemical weapons had little or no effect on Tripods, one element when charged and enough covering started to eat away a Tripod armor. Artillery rounds had to direct hit a Tripod many times to cover it, in addition electrical fuse's continued to fail. So it was decided to give it to the Infantry. The boost in morale to the Infantry helped decide the discussion of how to deliver it. Discussions of using it with Zeppelins is also in works.

I know I'm a bit late but here's my Entry/
The "AT-Gewehrgranatan":Anti-Tripod Rifle Grenades
The grenade is attached to and fired from the rifle, and contains a power shaped explosive charge designed to blast open tripods through pure concussive force.
The weapon would replace the normal rifle fire of an element but would be a 10" range, +2 power weapon. The weapon would only be able to be fired once per game.
History: The German army required a weapon small enough to be carried by an infantryman, but strong enough to damage a tripod. German Scientists devised a powerful shaped charge device that could be attached and fired from the end of a rifle. Initial field testing proved that a full squad, at a close enough range, could disable or destroy a tripod. It was decided that mass production of this weapon would begin and that it would be issued to every German Infantryman. Morale instantly boosted to high levels that the average soldier could destroy the massive tripods.
