I keep up with the markets as it effects what I order from over the pond. The current pound exchange is a a low $1.41 per pound and is dropping again today. Good time to order from UK. G'day.

Unfortunately the Canadian dollar has been dropping almost as fast for several months so buying from the UK is still no bargain. Our dollar is now below $0.70 US. (A few years ago it was worth more than $1.00 US.) The exchange rate puts a damper on buying from the US, though I was 'forced' to pay a lot for a Reaper and Slaver in the past week - seemed like the last opportunity to obtain them. Now if I could only find a Scientist...

Well, news update - the price of oil Texas bounced up over $5.00 today, so the pound rebounded to $1.42 and is still climbing at this time. I'm bracing for Blizzard 2016 (blizzard warning here in Washington DC and Maryland where I live) starting tomorrow - so might be out of the loop with lost of power and a few toes from freezing. Wish us luck. Good weather for tripod hunting, say the Yeti battalion, white out conditions with major heatray disruption (heavy snow per my weather tables lol). Peace out!

Your blizzard is shown tracking over us in Nova Scotia several hours later - we've had two in the past 14 days with high snow banks already. Hoping it won't be like last year when a record snowfall accumulation of more than 3 meters (~10') was received!

USA weather stations have takening to naming these onland storms similiar to hurricanes but on the land. Wonder what this one will be called. Arrrgh batter down de hatches me boyz, its a Nor'Easter!

It been a while since I posted here. Whether you're 'in' or 'out', yesterdays vote by UK to leave the EU has had a major effect already on Pound to Dollar balance, with the Pound hitting a 30 year low of 1.32+ to the $1. As of about an hours ago it was thrending 1.38/$1 to 1.39/$1. Though I hate to say it, its a good time to buy from our vendors across the pond. Lets hope they can recover soon, but, buying from our suppliers there will help those companies stay afloat through this situation.

They've been running low as well - last check was at about Aus.Dollar at 67cents to a US$, so has been a good buy for some time. It might be lower since Brexit, I've not been checking as I've got no Paypal acct. now and no computer either for that matter. The computer will be around $900 before I pay to get files off my dead harddrive so things are at a standstill till at least EoM. Isn't it amazing that 'spellchecker' in the 21st century doesn't recognize the spelling of harddrive to be valid?!?

Follow up : I just left CNBC; the current rate for a Pound is now at $1.31 and falling this morning. More pain for our friends over the pond & more opportunity for sells of Conqueror, Black Hat, and other various UK products for our game.

I have an Android Tablet that I got for $100US. A while ago I got a Bluetooth keyboard for $50. Kobolt (Lowe's) sells a contractor's tablet case that is very robust. I found these items necessary because of all my time in the hospital. I'll have to check slave2gammings place.

Somewhere I think I included the currency exchange mod I use - I'm sure you can find one to suit you on the web to calculate the very nice price of S2Gs models. The only kicker is shipping, but even it is reasonable considering the distance. PS: I've since found that the currency exchange mod is faulty - it allows hacks of your system - Do Not Use It. I recommend strongly CNBC online for up to date currency exchange rates.

Glad to hear - soon as I get my new computer and files recovered I'll be doing an order with them - even considering 'mailing' the fund via check for a long turn around to receive. Hope this finds you well as can be expected my friend.
