Hi I'm very new to AQMF, just starting to wrap my head around the rules while I assemble the minis I have picked up on ebay and from Ironclad games, but was wondering what the points cost for a human player to add Trenchworks to the table? I see that 'The Bunker' scenario allows extra Field Fortifications of up to 6" x 6" to be deployed for 75 pts, does this apply to Trenches in all other scenarios or is there a different cost listed somewhere?

Trenches are added as called for by the scenario. Trenches can go for about 10-15 points for a 6 inch segment. Point values for terrain are approximate. They are guidelines for scenario construction. A line of trenches spanning the map can work both ways. It provides defence, but it also betrays the humans' position. Small sections of entrenchments can prove a difficult puzzle for Martin. Either way, they can be fun.

Nice! Thanks for that, 10-15 points seems good value for them. Is that points cost noted somewhere in the rules and I have missed it or more of an informal community agreed value?

There is a blurb on the rule book, but I don't remember where.
Terrain is very difficult to standardise. No two terrain features are the same.
Fortifications are each unique. Some can be very similar, most are quite different.

To further confuse, I introduced the concept of hasty trenches - one side facing the enemy only. I use Archeon line of resin trenches (see vendors) in 20 mm scale - easy to paint up, drop down and gives better protection than regular terrain. See my various boards for this. The advantage to this is that units like Marines that have landed can 'entrench' to some degree near a town they're evacuating or other such situations where a force wants better cover.
