Well, I tried to get Morgan Freeman, but he was busy. Some fellow named Ray Greenley. I heard a sample and he's really very good. He adjusts his voice for the different characters and it's quite effective.

Will there be any sound effects?
A nice Ulla Ulla Ulla to intimidate the puny humans....

I believe it's all just the narrator's voice. But he does a very nice job altering his tone for different people.
They will be working on Book 2 shortly!

David Ogden Stiers Winchester on M A S H, read one of Tom Clancy's books and did multiple voices and a few effects. It was awesome.
"Readers" who do voices only are indeed incredible.

By the way: My doctor has recommended I participate in "Silver Sneakers" a health club slash exercise program , in our case for diabetes. Talking book make the miles go by easier. Another use for Talking Books.

Yes, the VA wants me to start a "Move" program once my A1C is down enough. Good stuff, but harder to do with the winter coming.
