Gday Guys, This is the latest announcement from S2G, for those who are interested, we might be looking for playtesters. This is the post that went up on TMP: Today I’d like to announce that Ivan Sorenson, the game designer & author of such great games as FiveCore & Starport Scum, and owner of Nordic Weasel Games, has agreed to work in conjunction with us here at Slave 2 Gaming to reproduce the game “Trench Storm” from the 90’s.
Slave 2 Gaming has bought the rights to the 2nd edition version of Trench Storm, and in conjunction with Ivan, we will be re-releasing it as Trench Storm Revisited, a company scale game set in an alternate World War One setting.
This game will support the 18mm Dark World War range of figures, designed by Mike Broadbent and sold through Slave 2 Gaming. It will be available through the Wargames Vault in the coming months in both PDF and hard copy form.
This game is a D6 based game of 4 or more stands per unit, with 3 units per company. Companies can be supported by Heavy Weapons, Cavalry and it even includes the use of Tanks, Artillery and Air Support. Currently the game has been set up to use the two Dark World War armies from Slave 2 Gaming, the British and the Prussians, these can be found here on the slave to gaming website: slave2gaming.com/index.php
Players will be able to choose with these new rules to either play scenario based games, create their own army lists, or use the pre designed force lists in the rulebook.

Magnificent! What a great pairing and I'll be getting my copy asap. Will it be available in pdf as well as paper?? Much cheaper to buy a pdf than ship a heavy book. And you folks have the line to go with it, which can't help but increase your miniature sales. Bravo!

The plan is for a PDF through Wargames Vault, what I have seen so far with using these guys is that you buy the rules and this allows you to download it as many times as needed.
My thoughts are that even though we are starting with a set of rules that already have the groundwork set up, the game will be streamlined and with player help can be moulded into a fair and enjoyable system, via forums and possibly a Facebook site for those that like to use that.
As the rules get re-worked to a final playable system, those that are playing it will be able to get the upgrades for free from the vault. The final product will most likely be either both PDF &/ or hard copy, I'm really happy to see what the players want and work that way.

Well, if and when you get a distributor here in the states, I'll probably get the paper version as well. My computer is a desktop, so no taking the pdf about. But, I do like the Wargames Vault idea, as at some point I may also have a laptop or tablet to use.
