I promised you that as soon as I figured out how to build bases for my paper aircraft I would share it with you. So here we go! I took some old wooden bases I had lying around. A 2” square, a 1 ½” round, and a 1” round. There is no need for you to use those exact sizes and shapes, it’s what I had. You use what you have. You will also need some tubing. I had some styrene tubes , but metal will also work. Then a short piece of wire that will fit snugly inside the tube. I glued one piece of wood on top of the others and after they dried, I drilled a hole through the center. The hole should be just large enough for your tube to fit into. Then I glued the tubes into the holes using epoxy. While I was waiting for the glue to harden, I put the piece of wire through the bottom of the aircraft (inside the printed circle) and glued that in place. Once the glue on the bases was set, I painted them green. After the paint was dry, I added markings to show the firing arcs (I will be posting my rules for aircraft very soon). Then you just stick the wire coming out of your aircraft into the hole at the top of the tubes and you are ready to fly!

Great look and work there scott. I look forward to your shot at aircraft rules. Despite my efforts, I don't seem to have won anyone over with them.
