Testing out a color scheme on a single infantry troop... This mini hasn't been sealed at all as I'm just testing things out, so it's not really the best I normally do. Colors I used are Vallejo unless noted... Suit: Pale Greyblue (907) Armor/Pads --> Basecoat: Green Brown (879) , Highlight: Khaki (988) Highlight 2: Stone Grey (884) Gloves --> German Fieldgrey (830), Highlight: Green Grey (886) Rifle Stock/Axe Handle --> Basecoat:Tan Yellow (912), Overcoat: Woodgrain (828) Metal Pieces --> Basecoat: Gunmetal (863), Highlight: Honed Steel (Reaper 9053) Metal Piece Trim: Tarnished Brass (Reaper 9198)

Wow! I'm going to hangup my brushes on that single figure alone. You've really out done yourself on that figure - what a beautiful piece of work. I'm soooo impressed I might have to send you stuff to paint for me (at a price of coarse for your time). Thank you for sharing even if you've humbled me enough not to want to paint anything again.

Hmmmm, maybe I'll try using a lot of 'dirt' look to cover my poor techniques - after all those guys spend a lot of time in the trenches

I'm anal about the stuff I paint MM, so don't worry about it.... then again, I haven't started to paint tanks yet.... or Martians...
I've painted for my friends before, so I'm open to doing it for others =)

Wonderful work!! I have neither the eyes nor the hand-steadiness for that kind of detail on such small figures. Of course, patience plays in this too.
