Nice. Will add a pack to my building Paper Terrain order. 5 for $15 is a great price. I did XYZ stats for these - I might add some bombs to the mix to make it a more flexible craft as with only a mg, its resigned to scouting and drone hunting. A few bombs would make it more attack oriented. Getting 5 is a real boon. TY Scott. Now some more Martian fixed positional and maybe some 3mm RR stuff (for me its selfish I know).

I'm seeing two MGs, one when I look at it from the right, another when I look at it from the left. Probably an optical delusion. 😉
A flight of five should do some damage.

Well, there are commercially available ones for air combat games, but I'm not sure most people would want a stand that costs ten times what the model does! I'm still working on something for myself. When I get it right, I'll share it here.

A Quick and dirty version
I save the stiff plastic from packaging, like the packages IC uses for their products. I have some sheets of clear plastic that is pretty stout. I take a piece about 2 inches by seven inches and make a clear tube about 2 inches tall and two inches in diameter. It holds things high enough above the table but not too high as to be unstable.
Clear plastic cups of the right sizee work too.
The problem with scrap, however, is it only works with the right scraps.

At the hobbyshop, Woodland Scenics has some really nice sheet styro in a variety of thicknesses. It is in the model railroad section and is used for lightweight underlayment for track.
"The problem with scrap, however, is it only works with the right scraps."
Problem or opportunity? Engage your creative brain. Put the piece of styrofoam down on a table at arm's length. Look at it. Turn it over. Look at it. Turn it around. Look at it. Upend it. Look at it. It is amazing what you can find hiding inside a chunk of styro. Hills, plains, bunkers, beaches, cliffs.... Cut, break, scrape off whatever you don't like. Don't sweat it if it screws up--it was free anyway. Toss it and get another piece. Some white glue and toothpicks can join bits. A bit of paper towel or kleenex tissue can span gaps. Spackling compound will, too.

I've been thinking about the stand for this. First impression. Take two 20 or 25mm base, cut and paint a standard straw the length and color you want (sky blue? just brown or green like the Renedra base. Glue the straw to the a base, glue the second base to the top of the straw, set the model on the base. I'd suggest a 25mm myself. You could also construct this out of two 40mm square bases, but, the 'ground' footprint would be bigger. All of the above is not satisfactory cost wise, but its close to the cost of the individual model & hey you're getting 5! flights worth from scott - so enjoy.
