Having been inspired by the Historicon pics, is it something we should be thinking of organising. Is Clive out there somewhere? I'm trying to steer clear of FB atm, every time I open it i step into a time travel machine and find myself an hour and a half in the future...

Yes I think Clive is doing something. I am avoiding Facebook as the negativity was getting me down what with the EU stuff. I also left the AQ Facebook groups as I was sick of people moaning about the kickstarter or about Ironclad games getting something they paid for.
Clive doesn't really do forums so you would have to see what he was up to on the Facebook group

Wow, folks are angry, it does cloud your judgement. Either that or they need something to actually worry about, there's perspective for you. Cheers for the heads up. EU = Whoever you vote for government wins.

Pull out novista, pull out - watch that guntower!! Sorry, I do go to the FB at times, as I subscribe to both the AQ group as well as the 6 mm gaming group and other game related stuff. Also, my most local game stores site has lots of stuff and schedules so I try to keep up. One of these days I'll actually get to visit it again (its a 2 hours drive one way). Sigh.

Went to Salute this year, as one of Clive's little helpers, but he had a transport problem the night before and couldn't make it. I still went up, and was pleasantly surprised to see some Martian gaming going on. So it would be good to get something going for next year, especially as the new owners seem to be what the game needed.
And yes, Clive would be the man to talk to about it!

I popped up there myself Paul. Looks as though it's a soviet thing next year, maybe the new owners will be up for getting on board (scuse the pun!). Baby steps would be cool, as I'm sure plans for world domination will get rolling. I feel AQMF fans are more akin to wings of glory (wow) and the same players, than GW or FFG, we're small but perfectly formed, well maybe not so small... @ MM Managed to get in FB and pull out, not as sharp as I'd like, but hey, old habits die hard. Oh yeh, just found out about konflikt 47... The 15mm figs are looking like a possibility, not sure about the German heavy mechs. www.clockworkgoblinminis.co.uk

glad you made it novista! "Now lets blow this thing..." LoL. I just shudder at the cost on GW stuff. Way too much for my wallet after the amounts I spend on AQMF. But, hey, there are occasional things that grab my interest outside AQ - like the Last Regiment stuff. Ahhh soooo many figures, so little time.
