The "maintenance mode" page that was the company forum now says "done" and has a staff sign-in tab below. Is that different from what it used to say? Meaning maybe it will relaunch?

Sorry - that's the same thing that was displayed the day everything went dark. I thought that it was rather curt the day that it happened . . .

That's been there for a week; it popped up as I was about to submit a post to the forum during noon hour (AST). No changes since.

Would it be possible to track down an AD employee who, although not one of the major players, could at least fill us in on the thinking behind the vanishing AQMF?

The blackout appears to be total. My publisher knows a lot of people in the gaming industry and he tells me that there hasn't been any communications from AD or any of it's people for almost a month now.

And that's a bad thing to say the least.

My FLGS owner said they went under owing over $80k to Perry bros. and $30k to renedra. He speculated that the move to Pennsylvania had something to do with more lenient bankruptcy laws.

If that is true and the move was in the pipeline for some time then it sounds pretty damning toward the owners. How to treat your creditors and customers.

If thats all true they must have sold a lot of stuff from them two as i'm guessing that debt would be now more than 3 months worth of goods

Which companies can/have done all the time here in the US......but this might get them, or someone else back to producing the game we all love.

I might purpose that Old Glory could pick up the whole ball of wax. They already have produced the figures and resin some and had good ties with the company. It would make an excellent addition to their line and they have lots of WW1 related product coming out (new figures like observation figures and in the Shipyard the redo of their coastal arty lines for example).

I realized that I receive an email any time I am sent a Kickstarter message. It pings my phone. With that in mind: I just sent AD 19 kickstarter messages offering to pay shipping for the last of my pledge. It may just be pissing in the wind, but if anyone at AD still has their email linked to kickstarter, maybe they'll notice. I invite everyone to do the same.
