I found this while looking up scale comparisons. The Reviresco's Dreenoi "Cockroach" theminiaturespage.com/boards/msg.mv?id=376462 At only $10 with some work it'd come close to the description of construction machines might also work as a harvester.

Nice ty!! That article is excellent btw - for all you folks looking to mix scale figures, it gives some great examples for all sorts of items. As far as the "Cockroach" thats an awesome looking machine - all those weapons look really nice and I'd kinda hate to use it as a construction machine. In fact, it would be a great 'next generation' Martian Walker. I've commented before about progression of Mars/Terra tech and the various new models we're seeing for AQ (S2G,Conqueror,Black Hat, etc) on the human side needs to be matched by Martians - a 3rd generation group of machines, not necessarily tripod in nature. For one thing, theres a limit to Martian metal. Which brings up the question, what is that & can it be reproduced at will on Earth or do they have to mix Terra metals into their new machines?? I'll definately check out that manufactor site.

TY again for reminding me about the wealth of figures available from the USA firm Tin Soldier. Many of the 25mm Starguard figures will work great for AQ stuff - for example, the Ameron Spigot Mortar ($10) for two vehicles. For the first remove the figure, cover with a piece of plastic over the drivers station & you've got a great looking oversized (25mm) wreaker for your Field Engineering units. The second model you do the same and you've got a SPA big mortar/howitzer model. Another example: the Arland Magrab/Norgal Destroyer/ Warbot for a 3rd generation martian machine and the neat little monowheel (3) scavengers robots or the Xulu Spider. Theres 3 different gun drones (scale works at 18mm) as well as a 'Mobile Ops Module'. Not to mention the various humanoid robots with weapons (replacements for the drones/lobototons). The final mention is the wonderous HMLS Thunder in their newest 'VSF Steam Punk' line at $40. This is a 1/64 (28mm) 'LIC" one tracks, with a 6" (read 12" in this scale) gun and two large Gatlings, one on each side. The thing even rotates on its threads! If you'd doing any steampunk 28mm, the interior is beautifully laid out with troopers maning guns, etc. And the list of paper items goes on as well. Have a look. www.tin-solider.com
