Nice looking although once again theres some question as to how the crew gets around in there once through the side hatch. Tight squeeze I'd think.

I'd like to see the wheels on the trailer larger.

Nice looking although once again theres some question as to how the crew gets around in there once through the side hatch. Tight squeeze I'd think. The AD model had the same problem - gun mount inside the crew compartment so very little room for the stoker to work! When I build my Tesla tank using the Ironclad Miniatures Faraday Electric Gun it'll be mounted on the tank's roof. I think the wheels on the Conqueror trailers are much too small. I'll be using the gun carriage for the Faraday gun to make the trailer. It's wheels are 22mm in diameter, the same height as the MK II tank.

Hi All, Thanks for comments, I agree there is little room to shovel coal in the internals... I can possibly design another variant which has the gun mounted on the top much like "loyalist" stated - and to be perfectly honest something that I had debated for the very reasons stated - but I decided to stick with the form factor people where used to seeing. Regarding the trailer - I personally do not like the huge wheels - as it forces a higher base for the trailer due to the axle position and you end up with a huge trailer which in my view looks at odds with the tank - but thats the beauty of most wargames - everyone likes something different in their models and thats why we have so many different suppliers providing similar yet different models Also in game terms I am sure each city would churn out its own variants of trailers/turbines to power the tesla coil gun so a vaired mix on the table will only add flavour to the game. The tesla models are now with the caster and I hope to be able to offer the model for sale in the next week or so. Regards Andy conquerormodels.com

I agree re the problem with very large wheels but have found the 28mm carriage from the Ironclad Miniatures Faraday Electric Gun with its 22mm wheels will look fine with the steamer tanks when converted to an ammo limber. I think the issue I have with your trailer wheels is more their narrow width than their diameter. They don't look substantial enough for supporting large loads, especially in muddy terrain. Maybe if the tread was 2-3 times wider and looked like the WWI artillery steel wheels they'd look more functional.
Other than the trailer wheels I think your 15mm sci-fi tanks are great. Have you considered a stretched version as an infantry transport as was done in WWI (though not with much success!)?

Fair comments about the wheels - once I clear the other projects I will return to the trailer and maybe do another set of alternate wheels. Stretching the tank - yes I have thought about it - buts its a a fair bit of work to modify the model - and I am not sure many will sell to be perfectly honest - though I have several other models in the pipeline suitable for AQ, just posted some images of the American WW1 liberty truck (with my version of armoured cab) and a field howitzer (you will like the wheels on the howitzer) on facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/137061463148083/). Just added a few images here for you. The armoured truck will be first...

Absolutely awesome. Good stuff and I'm sure to get some of both fliivers & the artillery piece. I plan on using either the cargo carrier with MG or steam tank with no sponson for troop carriers myself. Easy to envision either as infantry or squad transports.

I'd love to see an actual photo of this once it's in production, as this is one of the models I will never receive from AD. If the actual sculpt looks anything like that concept render: I will have no problem purchasing one.

Looks good so far.
While flivvers may not seem glamorous, they are how humans carry the fight to the martians.
A Flivver can tow artillery, ammunition, and communication equipment. A Flivver full of radio gear with the battery, a Model T with a radio at the front. Good Stuff (Well, not so good for Martin, but I'm trying to shoot him anyway...)
On the other hand: can you produce some 15mm machine guns?

I'm really glad you've got a 'hat' in this forum so we can offer and banter about ideas for you to consider. Your line of models are the mainstay now of my ongoing USA forces - I call them the Ford Motor Co. Conqueror series - and I plan on several purchases over the next few mounts. There are several units that might be tempting for all of us if you would consider them. First would be a 'Field Engineering Unit' - two "workshop" trucks and the wrecker. I can see your excellent models and pieces forming this non-published unit. Second would be the 'Holt Mobile Artillery Steamer'. This MArty would see extensive work in the early year scenarios and still be present with state militias and more static defense positions. Put an ammo trailer on a battery and you've got a sweet option for the state militia commander. One question - that "field howitzer" is a proposed 6" right?

Agreed good stuff! Love having extra armored flivvers with HMG and that howitzer looks awesome (6" right?).

I plan to use the armoured version for ambulances and an HQ radio truck.
