For the dazzler I may just paint the front of the top bit of the tripod red. Worse comes to worse with the Siren, I might just go into my bitz box from model railroading and use a few Locomotive horns.

I made my siren from green stuff but got the other bits in the Kickstarter

The Dazzler and siren should be easy to duplicate or replace with something similar to convert a standard Assault tripod to a Red martian. I don't think I'll bother with the skeletons.

I've wondered about the Red Martian, Patton tank, etc. This was kinda a sales ploy similiar to the GW system of having a special character or machine as 'top line' purchase. Both vehicles were 'outside' the rules, with new ideas and weapons. I realize some of the folks have grown quite fond of their 'Red'; the fellow that did one in the style of the Bugs Bunny cartoon is my favorite. But, for game purposes shouldn't both those 'vehicles' be available as basic to the forces they come from. Why wouldn't there be more Patton trained crews or style tanks. Why wouldn't there be Martian command tripods in particular with 'upgrades' like the Red Martian, especially if they don't have (thru rank or otherwise) a Dominator or Overseer? All thats different is 1/the color (?) 2/the Siren of Terror, 3/the Dazzler - all easily duplicated on any number of machines, even by someone of my limited skills. Nvm the skeleton, you can get any number of those from plastic sets or Holloween decorations and frankly its not needed. Sorry, I go a little off - but, those two weapons would quickly be picked up by other Martian machines, mad or not, due to their effective battlefield use. For those with the 'Red's keep the 'terror' rule for their model - its unique to the Red Martian I feel. I can see a 'Red Cell' of three or more Assault tripods, painted in metallic red with sirens blaring and dazzlers projecting - a real horror for the battlefield.

Royal Scientist?? or Regular? Hmmm think I'd rather have the legs and make me own dazzler. BTW what figure/line is you tag from? She looks like something from Warmachine.

It was my royal Scientist that came with the dazzler but he was missing his heat ray gun and arm. The normal scientist was missing his legs. I have since made moulds to cast the missing pieces between them. The figure is from an Australian company whose name escapes me

No problem, I've been searching for a listing I had on model terrain molds for a week, I've got it somewhere. Its a spin off of an art gallery that molds pieces; this division does gaming terrain (bridges, underground settings, figure bases). I'll post it as soon as I can find it - it is a USA company I believe.

The Dazzler looks identical to the piece on the Royal Scientist and would be easy to duplicate.
For the siren I see the conical thingy that goes on top of the power node's red plastic rod is of similar shape and size. I'm going to make two resin copies and mount them on either side of the red Martian's canopy.

I did some looking online and made a siren from plastic tube and rod. I used the version that looked like big air-raid sirens that looked to be as much as 4 feet across. Not certain if these are correct for WWI period, but...
Here is a pic of a siren I used as a model.

My attempt at Red Martian. I used a scout targeting arm with a large crystal for the dazzler. Took a spare arm and stuck a little metal funnel on it for the siren. No corpses. I do not know if Martians really understand concept of human terror. They probably know from a physiologic perspective that bright lights and loud noises are annoying to their prey.

Very nice Mikedski. RE inclusion of the skeletons I assume the back story that this particular Martian is either a genius in understanding human psychology or he has gone completely around the bend and there is no logical explanation for his tripod's apperance.
