The 1st edition and now also the 2nd edition has the Rapid Fire as part of the weapons special info.
So as I remember in 1st edition when a weapon like the MK III has a Machine Gun that has a Rapid Fire 3 and the 4" Cannon also has a Rapid Fire 3 then each weapon can fire 3x's (3 4" Cannons firing to front would mean 9 rolls to hit?).

Don't think a Mark III has rapid fire for the 4" guns.

I had a quick glance through the original rules and rapid fire only seems to apply to Machine Guns, Vickers Guns, the 2 pounder repeaters on the Mono Tank and the Tri-Barrel on the Kitchener Tank.

The 2nd Edition has more Rapid fire for weapons So I downloaded the Stat Cards from Abby Normal's website and you are correct. They appear to have given the 4" cannon "rapid fire." However it seems inconsistent to me. I noticed that the 4" gun on the Mk. II tank doesn't have rapid fire, while most other vehicles that carry it have rapid fire 3. The Mk. IV Cruiser Tank has a 4" gun with a rapid fire rate of 6, while the Mk. IV Monitor Tank's 4" only has a rapid fire of 3, but the the Mk. IV Dragon is back up to 6. I'm not a fan of inconsistency. It only adds complications. I do like that they have added an"Automatic Rifle" (Rapid Fire 2) to the Rough Riders and they have increased the "Heavy Rifle" range to 15".
