Check this thread in the next few days as I work up starts and suggestions for models for the Scott's Texas book. He basically added three new types of weapons to the game for the Texans.

Hmmm, reviewing my source (rereading a third time). Wire guided rocket mounted to automobiles, new French style armored car, and ...? Hmmm, will get back to you all.

Oh, okay, I wasn't thinking about the French. There was also the truck-mounted multiple rocket launchers.

Right - for vendors I found the following: Old Glory, Command Decision 313 for the French armored car. Simply remove a set of wheels for the six-wheeled vehicle in the book. For the truck mounted launchers, use CD 346C Katayushas on Zil truck. Carefully cut off two of the eight racks for the correct six rocket look. Take those two rails with rockets, separate into two rails and paint the rockets a very different color from you truck rockets (I suggest a metallic like some of your Assault tripods) and mount a rail 'guided missile' on an automobile. I'll stat them out tomorrow, but for now the speed of the cars & trucks are the same as regular. I need to research the speed on the armored cars and assign value to the various guns (90mm Anti-tripod for the French AC), rockets, and missiles.

Okay here are the game stats for the three new weapon systems in Scott's excellent Texas book. I've not been able to locate the 'stats' on the automobiles that were produced for AQMF by AD; if someone has that info, please post it here so I can complete the listings.
French Armored Car - One Element Cost 120 Spd 8" Def 5 Arm 8 Spec: closed top, radio, 90mm ATgun, Offroad speed 4" 90mm Arty Def 5 Arm 6 Rng 30" Pow +3/+4 Spec: Barrage 1 (HE)/AT shell, Independent unit. [Notes: use the stats for the armored car, as you only need the range, power, and shell types for the gun. I'm confident that this will make a major impact on the French forces in the game and I'm planning on at least a few to support my French Foreign Legion troops.
Six Rocket Flivver - One Element Cost 60 Spd 10" Def 5 Arm 4 Spec: off road at 1/4 speed. (6) 5" Rockets Salvo 1 Limited Ammo Range 30" +3 Power Rate of Fire 1 Special: total of six rockets per game with reload from ammo trucks, one reload per truck. [Notes: the number is based on the Flivver with Lt. Howitzer, which seems about right. I use covered trucks or the armored trucks with the MG on top for ammo. I see the ammo carrier as a waste - see my vehicle lists for further thoughts on those models usage in the game.]
Guided Missile Automobile - One Element Cost 75 See civilian automobile from previous threads. Special: Unit may be Hidden and may Ambush. (1) Wire Guided Missile : Range 25" Power 4. Special: wire guided missile = the weapon is guided to the target by wire, giving it To Hit +4. [Notes: This weapon can be a real game changer, as the Martian player gets paranoid about any of these models lurking in Hidden or Ambush on the table.
Well, there you have it. I do hope the new company plans on producing those two little civilian cars from the past line. If not, I highly recommend to rig some sort of temporary attachment for the missile racks so you can take them off when using the cars for fleeing civilians. Note that there are other vendors of WWI era cars, with a huge range of prices depending on the company in question. Matchbox probably makes the best line - but, they are expensive. See my previous thread for the models for these units. Enjoy!

Nice work, Morgan.
Some comments: The multiple rocket launcher would work like the Russian WWII Katyushkas; they would fire off all six rockets as a barrage, getting a template like artillery. They would need to take a turn to reload and they will need the ammo truck to get more than one shot per game. They should have a range comparable to heavy artillery.
The guided missile should have a power of 3 or 4. It carries a big warhead. I think the plus to the damage roll is not appropriate.

I think you are still missing something. The Six Rocket Fliver would be a barrage weapon.
Six Rocket Flivver - Unit = Two Elements plus one ammo truck, Cost 80, Spd 10", Def 5, Arm 4, Spec: off road at 1/3 speed.
Weapon (6) 5" Rockets, Range 100", Power +3, Special: Bombardment - Barrage 2, Lengthy Reload, Staggered fire
Lengthy Reload: The Rocket Flivers fire off all six rockets with each shot. This produces a devastating barrage, but means that there is a lengthy period of time while the rockets are being reloaded. After firing, the flivers take a full turn to reload.
Staggered fire: Rather than having both flivers fire at once and then spending a full turn to reload, the unit can fire one fliver each turn, alternating the flivers firing and loading to maintain a continuous (although less powerful fire).

Excellent, I sit corrected - make it so ! For all you folks, now you can add the three new weapon systems to any Texas battle you wish. The French armored car could show up anywhere French forces are fielded (French Foreign Legion comes to mind in USA), I suspect the two Texas systems should be exclusive to Texas until/if Scott does any crossover for them to the rest of the USA. How about it Scott, are those two also valid for eastern USA as well??

I think that once General Wood gets wind of the new Texas inventions, he'll put the Ordnance Department to work on their own version. I wouldn't expect them to be deployed in quantity until late 1913 or early 1914.

Okay, here's all the above consolidated for gaming purposes.
After firing, the flivvers take a full turn to reload.
Staggered fire: Rather than having both flivers fire at once and then spending a full turn to reload, the unit can fire one flivver each turn, alternating the flivvers firing and loading to maintain a continuous (although less powerful) fire.* *I assume this means a Barrage 1 affect.
French Armored Car - One Element Cost 120 Spd 8" Def 5 Arm 8 Spec: closed top, radio, 90mm ATgun, Offroad speed 4" 90mm ATgun Arty Def 5 Arm 6 Rng 30" Pow +3/+4 Spec: Barrage 1 (HE)/AT shell, Independent unit. [Notes: use the stats for the armored car, as you only need the range, power, and shell types for the gun. I'm confident that this will make a major impact on the French forces in the game and I'm planning on at least a few to support my French Foreign Legion troops.
Per Scott the new Texas weapons (except the French AC of coarse) won't be available until late 1913 or early 1914 scenarios on the East fronts.
