Crush of Iron relaunching as "Battle Valor Fantasy"

First off let me say thanks for contacting me again.

I need to make a small clarification on my original email. I didn’t mean to say I would be launching a Kick Starter in February, but rather start preparing in February to launch a Kick Starter some time down the road.

The plan;

Miniatures

Next week on Thursday Feb 4th, I will make the Battle Valor Website live and launch the first 2 armies for the game. These will be the Dwarians and the Orcians. Two weeks later I will launch the Frigians. After that I will be launching 1 new army every month.

Not everything will be available right off the bat for each army. I will also be doing new releases every week for the armies that are currently available, as and when production molds come on line.

Hopefully you will like the prices. Basic infantry figures will come in at 66 cents each. 60 cents once you register as a customer.

Infantry packs have 35 miniatures and Cavalry packs have 16 miniatures. Monsters, Machines etc vary based on the type and size.

I have hundreds of miniatures already in production, and many more being sculpted, being master molded etc. I will post pictures of new figures as they arrive on the website.

Don’t expect anything flashy in terms of packaging, an all singing and dancing website etc. My interest is only in keep building the miniature range and that’s where I will be putting all my money. As a one man operation, I am going to run a very tight ship and not spend anything I don’t absolutely have to. My interest is in providing a great game and miniature line, not pretty boxes.

You will see very quickly just how vast the range will be.

The Rules

Shortly I will be sending you a PDF of the basic game rules so you can give them a try. I will be making these available to anyone that wants to try them, and asking for specific feedback at different stages. Every couple of weeks I will send out an updated version of the rules with any changes an updates that people have made that I feel work. I will make the rules available on the website so that anybody who registers can access the latest version of them. I want to play test them to death. Once I feel the basic game rules have been proved sound, I will send out further stuff for people to give feedback on.

At a point down the road when I feel we are in the right place, I will run a Kick Starter to bring the rules to print, with some terrain and another 4-6 brand new armies. I don’t see this happening until after the summer at the earliest.

Hopefully at this point we will have established a good track record with lots of people, and they will be able to see from everything that is already available that we are a reliable company. People hopefully should also have some vested interest in the game, having been play testing and just playing it.

Every order will receive a free miniature. There will be a different one each month.

Customer Choice Units. Once I month I will be asking for suggestions on a new unit for any armies that have been released to date. You will see from the game rules that there is a vast variation of model types that could be made. I will pick one suggestion a month, have it sculpted and put into production.
