Any of you folks seen this anime movie? If so, any one know of a company that produces miniatures of the Steam Tripod Mechs the US forces used in the movie? Would love to see them in 1/100th scale.

I liked the movie. Teddy Roosevelt was great fun. Can't say I know of any miniatures of the mechs, but it wouldn't surprise me if some Japanese model maker had some. Of course that begs the question of WHY the humans would want tripod walkers

In war the looser always copies the weapon they feel defeated them. After WW1 the Germans wanted tanks. Then in WW2 some said they had the best tanks and tactics for them. So, after Martian Tripods in the first invasion almost defeats Mankind, goes the humans using their own tripods with captured Martian tech for weapons.

I have also seen the movie, but not any kits for them.

You might be able to find a suitable kit that could be used as a kitbash. Quadropod walkers might be more likely for humans.

I have not seen any kits or figures. There may be some paper stuff.

I agree that human walkers would probably be four footed. More stable platform. That said, Black Hat makes two very nice three legged walkers that would work well in the AQMF game. See my TO&E lists for my stats on these models.
