The original Alien Dungeon concept suggested Selenites and Venusians as other alien races, as well as underdwellers.
The underdwellers were offshoots of HG Wells Morlocks from "The Time Machine." as they currently exist, they are "complete" as a small faction that adds some flavor. They will be a minor power, allied with humans and not really able to field independent armies.
The Titans, as a way to add S2Gs aliens into the mix gives a "full blown" alien race, a "major power" able to field an independent army.
Selenites, "moon men," might be a possibility for a major power. Selenites were able to genetically adapt specialized creatures or specific purposes. There is much discussion needed about them, but they might be developed as a race similar to the Bugs of Starship Troopers.
Venusians are somewhat problematic because what HG saw as a world of lush jungle is now known to be a wasteland of great heat and toxic atmosphere. Still, the HG Wells Venusians would fit into the mindset of the 1910's timeline. They also present the possibility of being a major power.
Now: Edgar Rice Burrows envisioned Martians of several races, some of them were psychic. Robert Heinlein envisioned psychic (GROK) Martians. DC comics envisions psychic Martians. Many other authors have envisioned psychic aliens. HG Wells Martians are not psychic. Jules Verne did not create psychic races. What about other races? Psionic or psychic races are a staple of classic sci-fi. Could they be added or is there too much dissonance with the very technocratic universe of HG Wells?
Martians have relatively few but very powerful units. How do the other races flesh out?
Right now the possibilities (I see) are:
Underdwellers (very likely complete)
Titans
Selenites
Venusians
There is also the possibility of a race of beings on Europa.
ICG is likely to be busy with their work on Europe for several years. This only whets my appetite for more.
