Lt. Putov checked his rifle a second time and watched the field in front of his hasty position. It felt isolated in the snow storm despite his comrades on both sides of him. Trucked in yesterday, his entire company dug in as best as possible amid the pines and hard frozen ground. There could be no retreat.

This should be a fierce battle, as the amount of Russian artillery balances the Martian horde. Hide the cavalry somewhere in the woods to jump in with explosives on a Slaver or the Scout in hopes to knock them out. Good use of artillery will hurt the Martians - be sure to take out Slavers, the Scout and Assault/Sniper combo quickly. Turn the guns on the drones at that point and fire away. For the Martians a quick march is called for to engage those guns close up and bloodily. Priority targets are the batteries as well as the Monitor. "Lobo" the woods to flush out any troops hidden there. Whichever side you're on, this will be a quick and deadly affair. Enjoy!
