Good stuff - suggest British Command stand (@25pts) and definately the USA Engineer Wrecker unit. Also, maybe a Forward Observer Marine type group of 3 and finally, A Gatherer for your first tripod?? There was mention of a 'steak' drone in the AD pdf - figure its some kind of Martian 'blip' and would be a good smaller project in design before taking on a tripod. Of coarse, they have to sell. What is the price for what you currently have out ($US)??

Cool, thanks for that. I'll pass all that on to Mike.
A command stand show 9 figures+ extra bits (tent, tower), what does everyone think about these sort of amounts? I'm sort of wondering whether something like an Officer, radio/flaggman, and maybe a guy with some binoculars would be fine? Haven't even thought of extra terrain bits for it...
Mike liked the idea of Cavalry, for both British & German. Might be able to push for the US getting some as well if there's any interest.
Tripods might be a way off, we're still only getting going ATM.
having said all that, keep the ideas coming, I'd rather get stuff made that people are wanting.

I don't know that a Command unit needs to have 9 figs. like the AD one. It's a one element unit. Maybe a couple of officers, radioman, a guy with binoculars, a messenger or two and a guy with a flagstaff for those who want to add a national or unit flag?
Cavalry would be great; maybe lancers but I read somewhere that cavalry with explosives are 55 pts and those with explosive lances in the last BEF supplement had explosive lances that did the same +3 damage but at higher risk for 60 pts. Cavalry with rifles and explosive charges are probably easier to model than lancers.

Good stuff that. On command stands its pretty important what level the command is at - Company level, Battalion level, etc. I always felt the AD USA one was oversized - and used the 5 riflemen at attention as a squad elsewhere (3x Command boxes = a full 15 man squad awaiting to go into action). At company level I'd purpose a senior officer (CO), a jurior officer (XO), a radio man, a flag/signals man, and a messenger (in case the first two are out). The messenger can be on a bicycle or better, a motorcycle. If you want to get more 'terrain' bits add a radio truck or flivver type for the whole unit and perhaps some boxes of ammo, fuel drum, etc. This give a nice 5 man 1 element squad. Also, I'll usually add a 'security' detail in the form of a HMG, LMG, or the like and round it out with a couple of riflemen or corpsmen (aid) to make it 2 elements with 10 figures- so I guess we're kinda back to the 9 or 10 man unit, LOL. I'd prefer function over 5 guys standing at attention. As far as the cavalry, do a Sgt. and 5 troopers with those +1Pow rifles your infantry have and a second 'Cavalry Command' sqaud, with an Officer, LMG (like you infantry guy), and 3 troopers with some sort of saddlebag explosives or extra ammo for the LMG. Again, all with those really nice Big rifles (besides the LMG). The cavalry of coarse can dismount to form a 10 man (2 element) infantry unit (using your infantry above) with the 'missing two' counting as horse holders. Of coarse all of them, both horse and men, would have gas masks. Down the road some Uhlans (lancers) would be great with the adhesive lance making them look unique. I'd suggest the lances be cast seperate to be glued into the Uhlans grasp or lap or whatever, much easier to ship and safer for the lance as well.
One final suggestion. Do some of your infantry (at least 10 poses) with arms at port or held up instead of out firing. These are much better when trying to fit in a building or trench line with out all the guns/bayonets getting bent or not fitting. They can still be made to be advancing. I saw one company in another scale doing figures that fit on top of trench lines in firing positions, they kinda hang off the upper sand bags or are prone. Don't forget to do at least one run of figures all prone also - especially nice for Ambush and difficult terrain hugging. Excited to see what you all come up with.

How about some naval crew in gas masks for those of us who have or are planning to build ships or landships? Binocular figures would be needed.

Wow excellent thought! Would go well with Old Glorys 1:1 scale Shipyard ACW updated ships I use.

Great ideas guys, I'll pass on the ideas and see how it goes.
I've been thinking of some other ideas that are outside the current rules, something like Sniper teams, Mortar teams, maybe mobile Tesla gun units ( like a MG unit with a smaller version of the Tesla tank), or even EMP units (also like MG units).

Very good British officer figure - though a bit portly. Could he be a little taller/thinner? I think the triangular casing (for water-cooling?) around the British HMG barrel is too long - looks like the gun would be unstable on the tripod and tip forward. How about reducing the length of the casing by 20% and having a longer section of barrel visible at the end? (Same for the similar weapon carried by the infantry.)
The German HMGs and crews are great.

I agree about the 'machine guns' the length looks very unwieldy. What does the British officer have in his non-pistol hand btw?? Like the officers and I assume (yes I know) that the 'portly' is due to armor plate/body armor stuff under the jacket and legs?? Anyway exciting stuff.

The length of the HMG's did come up when they were made, but I believe that the idea for the HMG was the slightly exaggerated machine gun, much like the exaggerated Bayonets and Rifles.
I think the plan was to also make some other sorts of tripod mounted Guns, like a unit Tesla Gun or Electro Magnetic Pulse gun (EMP gun). The loader and gunner figures might remain the same but it would have different guns that you could mount, having said that I'm not too sure what Mikes plans with this idea are.
The HMG's have already been put into the set-up mold, and when we have enough figures to do the production molds they will be put in. I'll ask about shortening the gun, but I don't like the chances, sorry.
I believe that he is currently working on the dolly's for US, Prussian and British Cav, with talk about other standard infantry figures (he liked the prone idea). Not sure about time frame as to when they'll be available.
