I've stalled - building a few buildings, some barbed wire positions and tanks. The trenches are all undercoated, but still need more sandbags. All the planks are done though. Just got to paint the trenches after the sandbags are done I've been procrastinating about the Edison Wires because I wasn't sure about how to do the wires between the poles. Really, I think I should re base them at 3 per stand. Craig

Yeah, maybe better although as 'singles' you could do any alignment on the battlefield you wanted.

I hope to have the first of my street/city boards done by the end of the week (60cm x 60 cm), so I can lay out some streets and some trenches and buildings and see how it looks prior to painting.

Here we have some barbed wire covered hedgehogs as well as my revised Edison Wires in the background. I am looking at using wire that I can detach from the poles, to simulate it being broken or cut (for the Edison Wires). I'll make the bases of the poles look similar to that under the hedgehogs, and probably include a bit of barbed wire to help deter Lobotons Craig

Very nice. For my Edison wire I made the wires detachable for the reasons you mention. Just formed a length or wire with a hook at each end. Worked really well.
I like the hedgehogs. I haven't done barbed wire yet and may steal this idea. Thanks for the inspiration.
