Hmmm good points as always. Perhaps a simply change of rule, allowing a battery to either fire in total or letting individual guns fire independently. An FA could either fire as a battery with an AoE barrage value of +3 Power to all hits or individually with +3 Power on each shot. This would allow for both types of fire discussed above with the player deciding about which is tactically better. Okay?
