Some custom scenarios I wrote and posted on the old forum, all with battle reports. Feel free to use them for your own games.
The Convoy - Probably my post popular scenario, which several players on the forum have attempted (but to my knowledge no one playing the humans has yet won it). All human forces begin on a road stretching length-wise on the table, and the Martians ambush them from both flanks. A difficult scenario for the humans.
Martian Convoy - Replay of the above scenario, except with the Martians as the victims. Put together by Billf.
Last Stand - "A ragged battalion of Americans has been completely cut off and isolated by the long eastward retreat. Alone, without supplies or hope of rescue, they've gathered together and prepared for their inevitable end. The Martians are coming for them, and soon. But if they are going to make an end of these humans the Americans will force them to make such an end as to be worthy of remembrance (although I don't think it will go as well as it did for Aragorn). Moreso, the determined battalion intends to make it a particularly expensive end for the Martians."
Battle for the Crossroads - a 4 player game with a deck of secret secondary objectives to draw from. Also a two-player version.
Rally to Old Glory - "The 29th Infantry Division, spread thin in this area has suffered a series of defeats, and seems to be falling back all along the line. The retreat is at risk of becoming a rout. The 86th Battalion, whose commander has been killed, has been hit particularly hard and has become badly scattered and disorganized. As the units fall back, hotly pursued by Martian Tripods, young Captain Raulston resolves to make a stand. Knowing that it will attract both friend and foe, he orders his men to raise Old Glory in a small town square, and uses his signal corps to try and gather the shattered remains of the Battalion. The 86th heroically stop their retreat and turn to fight, digging in within the ruined town. They know that if they can hold long enough, it will tie up the Martian forces long enough for the rest of the division to reorganize and counterattack." Random start placement for the Americans, and special rules for the flag.
Wrong Side of the Tracks - A simple scenario to prevent the Martians cutting an important artery to American industry.
Escalation - A scout tripod meets a small human unit by accident. Both sides call for reinforcements, and the battle escalates... and escalates... and escalates...
