Yes, as long as you cut it before it hardens. Not a problem since they usually take several hours minimum to harden. Probably less expensive than the epoxy too.
There is also some European manufactured plastic modeling compound "FIMO" I think is the brand. It stays pliable and re-workable until you bake it in a low temp oven. Remains kind of flexible.

I am not Scott Washburn. I don't even play him on the radio. His trenches are attractive and durable on the road. Lately travel damage to minis means a lot to me.

Tonight, after a considerable break, I finally made all the remaining sandbags for my trenches so far. I still have to make some end pieces and a couple of bunkers. Here's the progress so far: At least one bunker will be able to use a tower from one of my Command tanks, and another will house a generator made from a 1:76 scale steam engine that will power my Edison Wires. Off to Bunnings tomorrow night on the way home to pick up some acrylic paint to get a nice earthy brown as the base coat for these pieces. Craig

Here we go, my first fully painted section of trench: I like the way this one has turned out. Craig

I have the AD cast trenches but have not painted them. You are shaming me into getting started on them.

I managed to undercoat four more sections in the base brown colour last night, so hope to have some more done tonight Craig

Well, I managed to finish off this lot of trenches. I'll need some more corners and some irregular shapes as well as a couple of special purpose bunkers, so they will be my next trench additions. But here's the finished (but still drying) pieces so far: I am glad that I took the time to make these myself - I didn't want them looking too new and pristine and I had a surprising amount of fun doing these Craig

Okay,
Bunkers - what sort do we need?
HQ, obviously.
Edison Wires power plant.
RAP?
Any others?
Thanks,
Craig

This is the start of my bunker for housing a generator to power my Edison Wires. I thought it would be nice to have a few objectives for my Martian drones to go after. Craig
