Well as will never receive the one I paid for its time to make one. I didn't like the idea of the trailer so I am doing away with that. Also I like the raised turret but thought it was too high so have lowered it. Progress so far

Not a fan of the flame tank (says the guy that bought a land ironclad) but yours is a better concept.

Haven't decided on pipes from the side tanks yet. I was going to put some coming out the back but might just leave them as that could be how they are refilled

I never understood why the AD flame tank had the turret on such a high tower, which would have seriously affected stabiltiy (but perhaps less so than the ridiculous armoured tower on the command tank). Giving the flame-thrower 45 degree elevation would easiy allow it to hit an assault tripod's head. No need to put it on a tower.
The trailer with the fuel tank was probably based on WWII practice. The Allied flame-throwing Churchills and Shermans had fuel trailers, in part to increase the fuel supply for the gun, but also to keep most of the flame-thrower fuel away from the tank and crew.

Looks really rad! I've gone with the redesigned fuel tender for mine, but that one looks very 'hot'.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but is that the actual MKIV tank body, or did you make your own? I was never able to get a MKIV and I really liked it.

Alot can be done with the new Conqueror line of tanks. Their fuel tank is my choice for a 'flamer' as its low to ground and doesn't need a trailer. I just use an extra 3" gun turret from my three 'Steam Tank MG/3"' (which I used as MG tanks of coarse) - with three fuel tanks I get three flametanks plus three extra carts with 'open trailers' to use for coal fueling in other units (ei = fuel tender rule). Good bargin after all said and done and my poor modeling skills aren't challenged

It blows (excuse the pun) the original away, I love the fuel tanks, brilliant idea. Another awesome caste. Can't wait to see the finished item.

I have just undercoated it today for my Canadian army. The fuel tanks as gas bottle for my home brew barrel. I need to drink some more beer to make more

I have a spare MkIV that I intend to convert to a flame tank. I am still leaning toward a fuel trailer. What did you use for the gun?

The gun bits were from my 40k bits jar. Not sure how I would go about making a trailer

I have an extra Mark IV as well. I was thinking of making it a down tripod recovery vehicle. But maybe flamer?
