I understand the basic premise of how this came about, kind of aping WWI with a twist, the fear of British Imperialism coming to the fore in Europe. Is there any fan texts relating to this or are we on our own when creating this faction in reference to AQMF. I have lots of ideas for their military forces, however I want this to fit in with their society, civilisation, technology, special rules and driving force. So text and ideas are what I'm looking for, please. Maybe give their troops a bit more of a steam punk edge? As usual definite gas masks, French colonial troops. German and French tanks became well established WWI/post.

I have ordered some Prussians from Black Hat Miniatures and I am hoping to use them. They do a few different ones included clockwork troops which I think is a cool idea. I will post some pictures when I get them. I have also ordered the two Prussian tanks.

Awesome I was going to email them for dimensions. When they arrive could you do some pics with AD US/Brit steamies in shot? Clockwork support troops sound great, as the unit special?

I have though about adding another gun to the front of the heavy tank then maybe make the side guns larger. Maybe they could have armour piercing rounds as their special.

I love the Black Hat idea! I also use some Spartan Dystopian Legion 32mm tanks for Germans as well. I use alot of 1/72 Infantry types for some scenarios and also Peter Pig/Flames of War/etc for 15mms - of coarse if you use an 'off scale', you have to do all the equips from them and thus will not have some of the basic 'tanks' etc. But, for example, in Russia, they developed different styles of tanks etc. The advantage of the different scales is that theres lots more available like ships, planes, etc. I also use 1/144 and 1/288 for airplanes/dirigibles/etc. usually from Wings... or Shapeways (3D printed figures). Cost effective and a huge range of stuff. BTW quendil, see deathfromaboves excellent pics/stats for ideas on weapons and his Tripod Buster Shell rules

As I mentioned above, I use Spartans excellent 32mm Dystopian Legions tanks and arty for Special Weapons of the Brits, USA, and Germany. Most of the listings I use for the Brits even if listed as other on their site as I feel the tech is with the Brits and I have made a TO&E for Special Weapons Battalion, which includes the small scale Dystopian Wars figures. These I use a wired & wireless controlled drones! But, I regress - heres the list of models I consider useful for making my Battletanks and Speical Weapons artillery.
Blazing Sun [= British] Ke-Ho Ironclad used for British "Waverly" as is a giant 'mono-wheel' vehicle with fuel tank in tow - mounts a huge flamethrower & two sponson Teslas! Actually is two wheels with tank in between but looks like a monowheel at a distance. BS [=Russian/USA/British] Kawachi-Kapon Type 17 Launcher Big 5 barrel rocket launcher artillery Kingdom/Britain [British] Terrier Ironclad used for British "Churchill", a monster mounting a turreted 4pdr superheavy coilgun and two sponson heavy coilguns. KB [British] Armstrong 14 pdr gun used for big 32pdr AT gun KB [British] Bassett Tankettes (2) used for British "Montgomery" battletank with a turreted mounted 32pdr Armstrong ATgun. Federated States Pioneer Ironclad [USA/Brit] used for Brit "Ackland' SPA mounting a huge 16" gun (has stun capability) FS [USA/Brit] Patriot Armored Transport enclosed transport with turret large gun] FS [USA/Fra] Hotchkiss Revolving Cannon a large tribarrel gun with a crank that is primed before battle - alternate, grind the crank off and replace with a 'power box' scatch built. Prussian Empire [Brit] Kettenkarre Tankette (2) used for "Cromwell" battletank with turreted Tesla gun PE [Ger] Waize Class Ironclad used for "Luttow" battletank with a huge 26" (650mm) gun, larger than the Thunderchild gun! PE [USA] 300k PaK69 huge Tesla artillery gun PE [Brit/USA] Sturmwagen APC enclosed transport, large enough to hold tanks! no weapons however
So far no true Fench or Antarctica items produced, look forward to those (Antarctica forces are usually Quad Walkers !) Of coarse the [] nation using can be changed, even using the Dystopian designated faction. I have the various German designs stolen, one of the reasons the Germans aren't fond of the USA diplomates. Next time - the French & German TO&Es as well as more planes, trains, and Special Weapons! enjoy

The tanks Are large - thats the point - they are special weapons, called Battletanks, developed to house various large weapon systems to give the humans some edge on the battlefield. Normally only one or two might be at a given important battle. Some of the early postings on the AD forum with pics had a few of these on the tables shown. I went some further with those.

Ok makes sense, have you got any? Just wondered what they look like next to AQMF stuff. Obviously you need to get a camera first
