So far I've found 3 companies making 18mm/AQ scale - Old Glory (actual AQ figure maker on contract), Eureka, and Black Hat Miniature (recent to me). I use Rebel miniatures for the electric fences (both sides) as their $20 tall insulated poles work well and also for lots of odd ball troops (again they're close to 18mm vs 15mm) like British Heavy Infantry = armed Hazmat troopers.

I don't see anything wrong with the QRF cavalry. It's about the same size as the Bedouins. In any case, I got it, I'm gonna use it  |

The Bedouins are on the small side compared to the official range and I felt the QRF were much too small compared to the official one. Unfortunately I am fairly sure I have melted them down so can't do any more pics. I think they would look fine on their own but not with the bedouins, but its your game so you can use whatever works for you  |

Hmmm, 18 mm Cav is an important function for the game. Even later years, the ability of Cav. to scout ahead, ambush by dismount, and cover large areas of terrain like in Texas and along the Sierra Front is vital. Aircraft can be grounded by weather - horses just suffer like their riders. |

Hope this means business is booming! Hope to get my order (finally!) to you by months end. There is a large new range coming out next month, unfortunately its not for the Dark World War range. But it might still interest you... There are new Tank upgrades coming out int the new year as well, we had issues with the printers (not printing all the parts...) and then the Christmas Postal strikes slowing down the package. I'm also hoping for a new unit of the British & Prussians for the new year + the rules system for the Dark World War range, that I'll be looking for playtesters for. All in all, a bit happening, so hoping for a good new year! |
