2 game sessions were played. 1st session the Martians got up to the River and stopped killing most of the Human Units between the river and wall (except 1 infantry unit that survived both sessions). The Martians moved up quickly with Scouts, Slavers and Drones before bringing up rest to mop up. Then the night came and the Martians backed up and repaired before re-attacking in the morning.

The second session saw reinforcements coming up and filling in for damaged and destroyed units. Only about 1/2 of the units were replaced with reinforcements and a few Mk IVs came up. The Overseer was back to the river in a few turns doing lots of damage and only being hit one time in the first couple turns.

By the 5th turn the Overseer was under fire from almost every Human unit that could have a chance to hit it. A couple Mark IIIs on activation were able to fire and hit with 4 guns and finally penetrated the armor doing some severe damage to the Overseer. A MK IV then finished it off with lots of hits and penetration rolling 3 perfect 10s in a row with first penetrating and second doing a critical hit on the damage chart and then doing max damage on it blowing it and a few units around it (except for a few Rough Riders who raced away and escaping the blast). The Humans continued to knock down the Tripods that came in close. By the end the Humans won and held the wall. Best game I had run and all players (only 2 played before) enjoyed the new rules.
