Very impressive I'll have to steal those ideas when I get around to rebuilding mine. The tower collapsed in storage.  Looks like a near miss from a heat ray right now. |

Magnets are great for all kinds of kits and bases, I've been using them for years. Scale wise comparisons all your stuff fits together well, I've looked at the "Wild West" trains and MAN, they are expensive! I'm a cheap bastard!  |

FWIW: You might try searching "paper craft train models" If you find one that you like, you can re-scale it.
The shapes are pretty simple and should work OK.

I'm a little bit closer to having my Ironclad finished. I thought I might get away with it, but the towers framework does need to be camouflaged and a few other spots to be re-touched.   |

Thanks. Used a lot of "Blue Tack" but as that is what I started doing on the basic tanks I couldn't stop. Next question. What does everybody think I could use these for? Please ignore the scatter i threw on the test one. They are 20mm square bases with 3 little things on them from the Dystopian War Martian Invaders stuff   |

I have some bases like that, they are rather small.
Maybe Martian anti-infantry. Poor stats but they drop from the larger Martian tripods carrabus when close assauted.

Love the dazzle dazzle pattern on your Ironclad!!! I recently acquired one, with all the other projects I've kind of put it on the back burner for now. Someone else warned me about the soft metal parts, I'll probably use some brass or steel rod to make a good solid tower instead of using the soft metal supports that came with it.
Or, make a more solid superstructure for it like the illustrations in the book. I see the guard rails are kind of "wavy" too, I like the softer metals for ease or working with but support wise.....its always a chore keeping them straight!
Good haul from Eureka, love those guys!!!
***Oh yeah, I'll probably take LOTS of time to drill and pin the Ironclad, it is so big and heavy it's going to need lots of that to keep it together!

Whilst getting some of a HQ Command Squad ready to be the crew on my Ironclad, I somehow got distracted by my civilians. Probably because they were already undercoated. I'm stuck at home under orders to rest because I crashed into an air-conditioner at work and tried to bust some ribs. Failed at that because they aren't broken (they think) only bruised. So 18 or so civilians not quite finished but that is today's progress.  |
