We are now at Nov 2020 with no indication that the 2ed is forthcoming. It is probably too late in the year to get production of new items ready for the Christmas 2020 season, so another sales opportunity is missed.
Momentum of the fan base and the secondary market can keep a game "alive" for only so long. One must ask if IG is really interested in the AQMF line.

The last thing I saw on facebook was the end of next year. I am very doubtful we will see anything as the last company said they were working on it but just ended up selling the game on. One person said it has been held up by covid and supplier issues but then someone else said they had been part of the new version play testing and had not heard anything for months.

I will soon come to the point that I have enough stuff to play with in the rulebook is just fine.

I'm sure I'll buy a 2nd edition when it comes out but doubt I will go all in as I have so much stuff anyway and have plenty of alternates as well

but one thing that drives me away from game systems is constant rule "upgrades and changes"
